Design of a Communication Device of Infrared Thermal Imaging Target Recognition and Tracking System

open access: yesAdvances in Multimedia, 2022
Due to the presence of solar radiation, each object emits electromagnetic waves at different temperatures. Thermal infrared imaging is to image an object through a thermal infrared CCD, which can reflect the temperature field of the object.

Thermal infrared precursor information of crack propagation for rock bridges

open access: yesYantu gongcheng xuebao, 2019
Due to the high stress accumulation in the rock bridge of its locked section, the rock slope with joints is prone to sudden instability. The uniaxial tests are carried out on the granite specimens with different rock bridge lengths.

Hyperactive ice‐binding proteins stabilize cell membranes and improve resistance to dehydration stress in Caenorhabditis elegans

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
TisIBP8, a fungal‐derived hyperactive ice‐binding protein, helps Caenorhabditis elegans survive dehydration. It localizes near cell membranes, reduces cell damage, and helps maintain membrane structure during drying. These results suggest that ice‐binding proteins can protect cells from dehydration stress as well as freezing stress.

Spatial Scale Effects of the Relationship between Fractional Vegetation Coverage and Land Surface Temperature in Horqin Sandy Land, North China

open access: yesSensors, 2021
Sandy range land refers to a major component of grassland area types in the semi-arid area of northern China. Monitoring of vegetation and land surface temperature (LST) using remote sensing technology can help determine the degree of desertification in ...

Mechanochemical Synthesis and Characterization of Nanostructured ErB4 and NdB4 Rare‐Earth Tetraborides

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, Volume 27, Issue 6, March 2025.
ErB4 and NdB4 nanostructured powders are produced by mechanochemical synthesis. 5 h mechanical alloying and 4 M HCl acid leaching are used in the production. ErB4 and NdB4 powders exhibit maximum magnetization of 0.4726 emu g−1 accompanied with an antiferromagnetic‐to‐paramagnetic phase transition at about TN = 18 K and 0.132 emu g−1 with a maximum at ...

Fusion of Infrared Thermal Image and Visible Image for 3D Thermal Model Reconstruction Using Smartphone Sensors

open access: yesSensors, 2018
Thermal infrared imagery provides temperature information on target objects, and has been widely applied in non-destructive testing. However, thermal infrared imagery is not always able to display detailed textures of inspected objects, which hampers the

An Improved Cloud Gap-Filling Method for Longwave Infrared Land Surface Temperatures through Introducing Passive Microwave Techniques

open access: yesRemote Sensing, 2021
Satellite-derived land surface temperature (LST) data are most commonly observed in the longwave infrared (LWIR) spectral region. However, such data suffer frequent gaps in coverage caused by cloud cover.
