Oil Cooling Method for Internal Heat Sources in the Outer Rotor Hub Motor of ElectricVehicle and Thermal Characteristics Research

open access: yesEnergies
The heat dissipation of wheel hub motors is difficult due to the limited installation space and harsh working environment, which will lead to an increase in the operating temperature of the motor.

Quantitative proteomic analysis reveals different characteristics of bladder cancer cells after exposure to bisphenol A

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Bisphenol A (BPA), a common chemical in plastics, exerts dual effects on bladder cancer cells: low doses promote growth and migration, while high doses suppress growth and migration. Multi‐omics and bioinformatics reveal BPA acts via MAPK and inflammatory pathways.

Thermal Modeling of Lithium-Ion Battery Under High-Frequency Current Excitation and Comparative Study of Self-Heating Scheme

open access: yesBatteries
High-frequency ripple current excitation reduces the lithium precipitation risk of batteries during self-heating at low temperatures. To study the heat generation behavior of batteries under high-frequency ripple current excitation, this paper ...

Proteasomal degradation of intracellularly expressed Amblyomin‐X limits suicide gene therapy potential in melanoma cells

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
This study explores the feasibility of expressing the antitumoral protein Amblyomin‐X through a suicide gene therapy approach and investigates its intracellular fate after gene delivery. Although the gene is efficiently expressed, melanoma cells rapidly degrade the Amblyomin‐X protein via proteasome activity.

A numerical model of the hydrodynamics of the thermal bar

open access: yes, 1995
The thermal bar phenomenon is modelled numerically by the natural convection of a fluid contained in a two-dimensional triangular domain. The non-rotating case considered here is appropriate to laboratory models of the thermal bar.
