Influence of the Size and Shape of Magnetic Core on Thermal Parameters of the Inductor
In this paper, a new thermal model of the inductor is proposed. This model takes into account self-heating in the core and in the winding, and mutual thermal couplings between the mentioned components of the inductor.

E2A selectively regulates TGF‐β–induced apoptosis in KRAS‐mutant non‐small cell lung cancer
Ability to induce apoptosis by TGF‐β is frequently lost in advanced lung adenocarcinoma despite intact TGF‐β signaling. We identify E2A as a mutant KRAS–dependent mediator of resistance to TGF‐β–induced apoptosis. TGF‐β induces E2A via SMAD3 in mutant KRAS cells, and E2A silencing restores apoptosis and enhances radiation response in cell lines ...

An asymptotic model for the hydrodynamics of the thermal bar
An asymptotic solution is found for the temperature and circulation structure for an unsteady two-dimensional model of the thermal bar phenomenon. The non-rotating case considered here is relevant to laboratory models of the thermal bar.

Pile heat exchangers: thermal behaviour and interactions [PDF]
Thermal piles – that is structural foundation piles also used as heat exchangers as part of a ground energy system – are increasingly being adopted for their contribution to more sustainable energy strategies for new buildings.

Intratumour heterogeneity complicates precision management of advanced endometrial cancer. Circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) offers a minimally invasive strategy to capture tumor evolution and therapeutic resistance. Here, we compare tumor‐agnostic NGS with tumor‐informed ddPCR, outlining their relative sensitivity, concordance, and clinical implications ...

Animal model of thermal injuries
Experimental studies of burns require the use of different animal models with the aim to imitate and reproduce pathophysiological conditions. The aim of this work was to establish experimental model of thermal injury.New Zealand rabbits, weighted from 1.8 kg to 2.3 kg, were utilised during our study. Another, also utilized, animal types were laboratory

A urine‐based digital PCR assay targeting two hotspot TERT promoter variants detected bladder cancer with high sensitivity and no false positives in this case–control cohort. The streamlined AbsoluteQ workflow outperformed Sanger sequencing and supports non‐invasive molecular testing for bladder cancer detection.
