Thermal properties of bodies in fractal and cantorian physics
Chaos, Solitons & Fractals, 2005Abstract Fundamental laws describing the heat diffusion in fractal environment are discussed. It is shown that for the three-dimensional space the heat radiation process occur in structures with fractal dimension D ∈ 〈0,1), whereas in structures with D ∈ (1,3〉 heat conduction and convection have the upper hand (generally in the real gases).

PHYSICAL and THERMAL PROPERTIES of GORGON NUT
Journal of Food Process Engineering, 1993Bulk density, true density, angle of repose, coefficient of friction on metal surfaces, specific heat, thermal diffusivity and conductivity of gorgon nut were determined using standard techniques for different sizes of nuts at moisture contents and temperatures ranging from 15 to 60% (dry basis) and 25 to 55C, respectively.

Laser Physics and Thermal Properties
1990This chapter includes basic information on laser physics that is directly applicable to laser angioplasty. The emphasis is upon the various types of lasers that are now or will be available and the laser characteristics that directly affect medical applications. The remainder of the chapter describes the thermal response of tissue due to the absorption

Micromechanics: Elastic, Thermal, and Physical Properties
1993In this chapter, we examine the elastic and physical properties of ceramic matrix composites. In particular, we give a micromechanical description of the different elastic constants, thermal expansion coefficients, thermal conductivity, density, etc.

Physical and thermal properties of turmeric rhizomes
Madras Agricultural Journal, 2002The physical and thermal properties of three varieties of turmeric rhizomes viz. BSR I, BSR II and Erode local were studied. BSR I had the highest primary finger length (82 mm) over the other varieties. The Erode variety showed higher weight for 1000 rhizomes.

Thermal hysteresis of some important physical properties of nanoparticles
Journal of Colloid and Interface Science, 2008Gold nanoparticles show thermal hysteresis with properties such as surface plasmon absorption, conductivity, and zeta potential. The direction of the incremental change in plasmon peak position and its extinction depend on the nature of surface conjugation.

Physical Properties of the Thermal Environment
1995For more than 100 years specific equipment has been used to keep newborns warm [1]. The first air-controlled incubator with integrated humidification was designed in 1947 [1] by Chappie. Since then, and especially in the last 15 years, birth weights have decreased to as low as 450g and gestational ages to as early as the 24th week of gestation.

Physical, thermal, and mechanical properties of bael fruit
Journal of Food Process Engineering, 2020AbstractThe physical, thermal, and mechanical properties of bael fruit were discussed in this paper. The properties of bael fruit were studied in term of its dimensional, gravimetric, frictional properties, and color values, whereas thermal properties were evaluated by determining the glass transition temperature of bael fruit pulp powder.

Moisture Dependent Physical and Thermal Properties of Coleus Tubers
Journal of Agricultural Engineering (India), 2013Some important physical and thermal properties of coleus tubers were determined in the moisture range of 466.62 to 21.52% (d.b). Selected physical properties, namely weight, size; bulk density, particle density and porosity increased with increase in moisture content.

PHYSICAL AND THERMAL PROPERTIES OF PARCHMENT COFFEE BEAN
Transactions of the ASAE, 2001Physical and thermal properties of parchment coffee bean were evaluated as a function of moisture content. The moisture content of parchment coffee bean ranged from 4.2% to 56.0% (wet basis). The results indicated that bulk density, kernel density, specific heat and thermal conductivity strongly depend on the bean moisture content. Geometric properties
