What Do Large Language Models Know About Materials?
If large language models (LLMs) are to be used inside the material discovery and engineering process, they must be benchmarked for the accurateness of intrinsic material knowledge. The current work introduces 1) a reasoning process through the processing–structure–property–performance chain and 2) a tool for benchmarking knowledge of LLMs concerning ...

This study demonstrates an efficient recycling route for out‐of‐spec AlSi10Mg atomized powders through compaction and arc remelting followed by suction casting. By correlating compaction load, cooling rate, and resulting microstructure, we show that intermediate pressures (50–80 kN) and rapid cooling refine dendrites, reduce porosity, and enhance ...

Metal complexes of triazine - Schiff bases: Spectroscopic and thermodynamic studies of complexation of some divalent metal ions with 3-(α-acetylethylidenehydrazino)-5,6-diphenyl-1,2,4-triazine [PDF]
Metal complexes of some divalent metal ions (Co, Ni, Cu and Zn) with 3-(α- acetylethylidenehydrazino)-5,6-diphenyl-1,2,4-triazine (AHDT) as a Schiff-base have been investigated potentiometrically and spectrophotometrically and found to have the ...

Loading of Silver (I) Ion in L-Cysteine-Functionalized Silica Gel Material for Aquatic Purification
The L-cysteine-functionalized silica (SG-Cys−Na+) matrix was effectively loaded with silver (I) ions using the batch sorption technique. Optimal Ag(I) loading into SG-Cys−Na+ reached 98% at pHi = 6, 80 rpm, 1 mg L−1, and a temperature of 55 °C.

Can the correlated stability conjecture be saved?
Correlated stability conjecture (CSC) proposed by Gubser and Mitra [1,2] linked the thermodynamic and classical (in)stabilities of black branes. In [3] it was shown that the thermodynamic instabilities, specifically the negative specific heat, indeed ...

This study examines how several molten high‐silicon electrical steels interact with both conventional and recycled MgO–C refractories. For this, various immersion experiments are conducted. In addition to infiltration, a number of mechanisms are identified and explained that control the corrosion of the refractory material.

How parameters and regularization affect the PNJL model phase diagram and thermodynamic quantities
We explore the phase diagram and the critical behavior of QCD thermodynamic quantities in the context of the so-called Polyakov--Nambu--Jona-Lasinio model.
