Cr0.9Si0.1 protective coatings are developed to enhance the thermal‐shock and oxidation resistance of Mg2Si0.89(Sn0.1,Sb0.01) thermoelectric (TE) materials. The coating forms a dense and adherent barrier that suppresses oxygen diffusion and mitigates mechanical degradation during cyclic oxidation, demonstrating its potential to improve the long‐term ...

Thermodynamic properties of Pb3U11O36
Abstract In order to progress in the development of Lead-cooled Fast Reactors, from the safety point of view it is essential to understand the chemical compatibility between liquid lead and uranium oxide. In the present work, entropy and heat capacity of Pb3U11O36, a possible ternary compound coming from fuel-coolant chemical interaction, were ...

THERMODYNAMICAL PROPERTIES OF HALL SYSTEMS
We study quantum Hall effect within the framework of a newly proposed approach, which captures the principal results of some proposals. This can be established by considering a system of particles living on the noncommutative plane in the presence of an electromagnetic field and quantum statistical mechanically investigate its basic features.

This study proposes a new methodology for producing metal matrix nanocomposites in the solid state. The process involves the plasma‐assisted thermochemical treatment of metallic alloy powders. As a proof‐of‐concept, TiN nanoparticles are synthesized directly on the surface of FeTi intermetallic powder particles, enabling the development of the ...

Bimetallic (NiFe) and trimetallic (NiFeCr) nanoalloys (NAs) are synthesized using corresponding oxide mixtures using microwave hydrogen plasma within a few milliseconds. The process simultaneously 1) reduces metal oxides to metals; 2) downsizes the particles from micrometers to nanometers; and 3) blends the metals to form NAs.
