Vertical Silicon Nanowire Thermoelectric Modules with Enhanced Thermoelectric Properties
Nano Letters, 2019Thermoelectric modules based on silicon nanowires (Si-NWs) have recently attracted significant attention as they show an improved thermoelectric efficiency due to a decrease in thermal conductivity. Here, we adopt a top-down fabrication method to dramatically reduce the thermal conductivity of vertical Si-NWs.

Ring-structured thermoelectric module
Semiconductor Science and Technology, 2007A novel tube-shape thermoelectric module is fabricated from four ring-shaped thermoelements and its performance in electrical power generation is evaluated by measuring the power output as a function of temperature differences across the device. A theoretical model of the proposed configuration is established and employed for data analysis.

Low temperature thermoelectric modules
Twenty-First International Conference on Thermoelectrics, 2002. Proceedings ICT '02., 2003Optimization of modules based on the new low temperature thermoelectric material CsBi/sub 4/Te/sub 6/ has been investigated. These materials have shown very promising thermoelectric properties for cooling applications in the 100-300 K range, however doping and alloying optimization is essential toward developing high efficiency coolers.

Theoretical analysis of thermoelectric module
World Journal of Advanced Engineering Technology and Sciences, 2023A thermoelectric generator was used to recover waste heat from a heat source, such as engine exhaust. The key elements of the thermoelectric generator are heat exchanger and thermoelectric module. Thermoelectric modules convert heat energy to electrical energy using the Seebeck effect.

Methodology for extracting thermoelectric module parameters
Proceedings of the 21st IEEE Instrumentation and Measurement Technology Conference (IEEE Cat. No.04CH37510), 2004The fundamental temperature-dependent parameters of a thermoelectric (TE) module: coefficient, electrical resistance, thermal conductance, and figure-of-merit are necessary, among other factors, for the conception of models for this type of devices. In this work we present a methodology for calculating these parameters from observable variables, which ...

Development of film-shaped thermoelectric materials for thermoelectric modules
Applied Energy, 1998Abstract Film-shaped thermoelectric materials have been prepared for thermoelectric modules for cooling or electricity generation. Flash evaporation and casting are adopted for preparing film-shaped p-, n-type (Bi,Sb)2(Te,Se)3 materials. The chemical characteristics and the thermoelectric properties of these samples have been investigated.

Thermoelectric generator modules and blocks
XVI ICT '97. Proceedings ICT'97. 16th International Conference on Thermoelectrics (Cat. No.97TH8291), 2002Characteristics and elements of a new type structure of thermoelectric modules for electric power generation with output power of 10 W have been presented. A parametric series of the indicated modules with rated output voltage of: 0.2; 0.4; 0.8; 1.6; 3.2 and 6.4 V is proposed.
