Patient Dose Optimisation of Abdominopelvic Protocols During X‐Ray Imaging
This study evaluates organ doses in abdominopelvic radiography for both erect and supine positions, addressing dose optimisation concerns in Ghana. Using CalDose X and thermoluminescence dosimeters, organ doses and image quality were analysed, revealing significant dose reductions with optimised exposure parameters (70 kVp, 10 mAs, 110 cm FDD).

An elderly male patient with extramammary Paget disease of the scrotum and multiple metastases was treated with fractionated FLASH‐RT (40 Gy in 5 fractions) in the scrotal lesion. Abstract Objective Ultrahigh‐dose‐rate radiotherapy (FLASH‐RT) has been shown to reduce radiation‐induced normal tissue injury in preclinical studies.

Estimation of the time of exposure from the differential fading of luminescent detectors [PDF]
Containment and surveillance measures for unattended or remotely monitored items and areas serve to detect, timestamp, and thereby deter the illicit movement and trafficking of radioactive material in the interval between two successive inspections. This
