Thermomagnetic analysis of some red beds
Earth and Planetary Science Letters, 1968Thermomagnetic analyses of red bed samples from the Precambrian in England and the Paleozoic in eastern Canada show that a significant amount of magnetite is generated if these samples are heated either in partial vacuum or in nitrogen. However, only a very small amount of magnetite usually is generated if the analyses are carried out in air of ...

Graphical analysis of thermomagnetic actuator with hybrid excitation
IEEE Transactions on Magnetics, 1990A graphical method to obtain the thrust of a thermomagnetic actuator with hybrid excitation by joining a group of finite-element reluctance computations is described. The calculated values of the thrust in the nonlinear magnetic region agree well with the experimental ones.

Thermomagnetic Analysis of the Crystallization in Soft Magnetic Nanocrystalline Alloys
Key Engineering Materials, 2020In this work, we investigated the dynamics of nanocrystallization from the amorphous state of the Fe72.5Cu1Nb2Mo1.5Si14B9 alloy together with magnetic phase transformations. The thermomagnetic analysis was performed with the simultaneous recording of the temperature inside the core by a thermocouple and the inductance of the winding wound over the core.

Thermomagnetic Analysis — A Powerful Tool for Metal Physics
1981The low-field a. c. and d. c. susceptibility has been used for many years to determine magnetic phase-transitions as a function of temperature. The temperatures of these phase-transitions from the magnetically ordered to the paramagnetic state are the Curie temperature, the Neel temperature, and the spinglass freezing temperature for ferromagnetic ...

Thermomagnetic analysis of intermetallic phases in mischmetal-cobalt system
Journal of Applied Physics, 1980The thermomagnetic analysis of the intermetallic phases in the mischmetal-cobalt (MM-Co) system was used to (1) establish the identity of the structurally similar 1 : 3, 2 : 7, 5 : 19, and 1 : 5 phases by means of their distinctive Curie temperatures (<20, 61, 270, and 541 °C, respectively), (2) indicate a new magnetic transition at 340 °C ...

Thermomagnetic Analysis of the (FexCo1−x)80B20 Amorphous Ribbons
Physica Status Solidi (a), 1993Metallic glass samples of (FexCo1−x)80B20 are studied by thermomagnetic analysis. The results show that this ternary alloy can be considered as a mixture of the binary alloys (Fe80B20 and Co80B20 with their compositions changed slightly in the way of a little increase in the boron content in the FeB alloy.

Phase transformations of siderite ore by the thermomagnetic analysis data
Journal of Magnetism and Magnetic Materials, 2017Abstract Thermal decomposition of Bakal siderite ore (that consists of magnesium siderite and ankerite traces) was investigated by thermomagnetic analysis. Thermomagnetic analysis was carried-out using laboratory-built facility that allows automatic registration of sample magnetization with the temperature (heating/cooling rate was 65°/min, maximum ...

Thermomagnetic analysis of amorphous (CoxFe1−x)73.5Nb3Cu1Si13.5B9 metallic glasses
Journal of Magnetism and Magnetic Materials, 2000Abstract Metallic glass samples of (Co x Fe 1− x ) 73.5 Nb 3 Cu 1 Si 13.5 B 9 are studied by thermomagnetic analysis. The Curie temperature increases with the substitution of Fe by Co, and crystallization temperature decreases. A simple consideration of the alloy as the sum of two magnetic systems is applied with good results.

On the analysis of galvano- and thermomagnetic effects in pure perfect tellurium crystals
Physica Status Solidi (a), 1978The Nernst-Ettingshausen coefficient S132 and the magneto-Seebeck coefficient S3322 of pure perfect tellurium crystals can be explained within the temperature range 77 K ≦ T ≦ 200 K neither by pure scattering of the charge carriers at acoustical phonons, ionized impurities, and optical phonons, above and below the Debye temperature nor by mixed ...

Thermomagnetic Behavior of a Ferrimagnet of High Spins: Monte Carlo Analysis
IEEE Transactions on Magnetics, 2019We investigate some critical phenomena of a Ising ferrimagnetic system on a square lattice with spins $Q=\pm 7/2, \pm 5/2, \pm 3/2$ , and ±1/2 in a $B$ sublattice and spins $S=\pm 5/2, \pm 3/2$ , and ±1/2 in a $A$ sublattice in presence of an $h'$ external magnetic field, such that $Q$ and $S$ are the nearest ...
