A Technique, Based on Thevenin Equivalent Method, to Study the Noise Performance of Analog Circuits Involving both CNTFET and MOS Devices

open access: yes, 2023
This paper presents a procedure, based on Thevenin equivalent method, to analyse the noise effects in analog circuits based on CNTFET and MOS devices. To achieve this goal, we use a semi-empirical compact CNTFET model, already proposed by us, including ...

Impact of QSW‐ZVS on Input EMI Filter Design in DC‐DC Converters

open access: yesInternational Journal of Circuit Theory and Applications, EarlyView.
This paper analyzes the impact of quasi‐square wave zero voltage switching (QSW‐ZVS) on passive EMI filter design for DC‐DC buck converters. The extra element theorem (EET) is used to derive the design quantities that ensure converter performance is not altered, and the resulting damping element values are compared with those of traditional converters.
