The stability of thiamine hydrochloride and mono-nitrate in parenteral vitamin B complex and iron solutions

Journal of the American Pharmaceutical Association (Scientific ed.), 1949
Vitamin B1, in parenteral solutions in admixture with riboflavin and niacinamide, exhibits maximum stability with respect to potency and clarity of solution at pH 4 under a nitrogen atmosphere. In admixture with iron compounds, vitamin Bi is more stable in the presence of ferrous gluconate than of iron peptonate or ferric ammonium citrate.
