Thin Layer Chromatography of Marihuana
The various TLC methods employed in the separation and identification of Cannabis products to date are reviewed. Two solvent systems are recommended for rapid identification of marihuana: multiple development, semiquantitatiom, and wedge and loose-layer chromatographic techniques are discussed.

A new benign solvent (1,3‐diphenylacetone) enables a simple, safe, and sustainable dissolution and gelation method to convert waste PET into low density, monolithic aerogels with high mechanical strength (E = 20 MPa) and remarkably low thermal conductivity (k = 21.9 to 28.9 mW/m·K).

By designing a P/N‐ and π–π interacting biphenyl‐containing diol as hard segments but side groups, a strong, tough, fire‐extinguishing and self‐healing elastomer is developed, demonstrating a break strain of ∼2500%, a toughness of 379 MJ/m3 and a tensile strength of 46 MPa, as well as a healing efficiency of 95% (tensile strength) and 99% (break strain)
