Coordination of O-Propyl-N-phenylthiocarbamate to HgI2 and the Crystallographic Characterization of an Anilinium Chloride Thiocarbamate Adduct

open access: yesMolbank
In order to investigate the coordination chemistry of O-alkyl N-aryl thiocarbamate ligands, HgI2 was reacted with one equivalent of PrOC(=S)N(H)Ph L in toluene solution to afford the 1D polymeric title compound [{IHg(μ-I)}{κ1-PrOC(=S)N(H)Ph}]n CP1.

Deuteration of Six‐Membered N‐Heteroarenes: Chemistry and Applications

open access: yesChemistry – A European Journal, Volume 31, Issue 67, December 1, 2025.
Deuterated six‐membered N‐Heteroarenes (6NHetAr) are finding utility in an increasing repertoire of applications. Our paper comprehensively reviews synthetic approaches that have been reported for the deuteration of 6NHetAr and their fused counterparts while providing an overview of established and emerging applications for these materials.

[O-Ethyl N-(4-nitrophenyl)thiocarbamato-κS](tri-p-tolylphosphine-κP)gold(I)

open access: yesActa Crystallographica Section E, 2008
A nearly linear coordination geometry for Au is found in the title compound, [Au(C9H9N2O3S)(C21H21P)]. The thiocarbamate ligand is orientated so that the aryl group is in close proximity to the Au atom, consistent with an Au...π contact [Au...Cg = 3.

Evolutionary expansion of the amidohydrolase superfamily in bacteria in response to the synthetic compounds molinate and diuron [PDF]

open access: yes, 2015
The amidohydrolase superfamily has remarkable functional diversity, with considerable structural and functional annotation of known sequences. In microbes, the recent evolution of several members of this family to catalyze the breakdown of environmental ...

Mono- and di-thiocarbamate inhibition studies of the δ-carbonic anhydrase TweCAδ from the marine diatom Thalassiosira weissflogii

open access: yesJournal of Enzyme Inhibition and Medicinal Chemistry, 2018
The inhibition of the δ-class carbonic anhydrase (CAs, EC 4.2.1.1) from the diatom Thalassiosira weissflogii, TweCAδ, was investigated using a panel of 36 mono- and di-thiocarbamates chemotypes that have recently been shown to inhibit mammalian and ...

(E)-O-Isopropyl N-(4-nitrophenyl)thiocarbamate

open access: yesActa Crystallographica Section E, 2008
The configuration of the thione–aryl C—N single bond in the title molecule, C10H12N2O3S, is E. Centrosymmetrically related molecules are connected into a dimer via an eight-membered thioamide {...H—N—C=S}2 synthon and molecules ...

Impact of paraquat regulation on suicide in South Korea [PDF]

open access: yes, 2015
Background: Ingestion of pesticides (mainly paraquat) accounted for one-fifth of suicides in South Korea in 2006-10. We investigated the effect on suicide mortality of regulatory action, culminating in a ban on paraquat in South Korea in 2011-12. Methods:
