Printed SWCNT‐Based p–n Junction Thin‐Film Near‐Infrared Photoresistors Enabled by a Sustainable Furan‐Derived π‐Conjugated Polymer

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
A sustainable polymer–carbon nanotube bilayer enables efficient near‐infrared photodetection in a simple lateral planar p–n junction thin‐film architecture. Thermal side‐chain cleavage enhances interfacial coupling, shifts the dominant photoresponse from 800 to 1000 nm, and substantially improves device performance.

Synthesis and Chemical Characterisation of Some New Diheteroaryl Thienothiophene Derivatives

open access: yesMolecules, 2011
Treatment of 1-(5-acetyl-3,4-dimethythieno[2,3-b]thiophene-2yl)ethanone (1) with dimethylformamide dimethyl acetal afforded enaminone derivative 2, which reacted with amino derivatives to give the corresponding bis-pyrimidine, bis-pyrazole, bis-triazolo ...

Benzo[b]Thiophene‐Derived Low‐T1 Multi‐Resonance Emitter with Suppressed Thermally Activated Delayed Fluorescence for Extending Organic Light‐Emitting Diode Lifetime by Managing Triplet‐Related Bimolecular Interactions

open access: yesAdvanced Optical Materials, EarlyView.
Introducing a 5‐phenylbenzo[b]thiophene unit into the DABNA core lowers the T1 level, enlarging the ΔEST to suppress TADF. This molecular design preserves narrow deep‐blue emission while drastically reducing triplet‐related degradation. Consequently, the resulting emitter, BN‐TPh‐TPA, delivers a threefold operational lifetime over the TADF‐active t ...

A Molecular Engineering Strategy to Fine‐Tune Phototoxicity of AIE Probes for Super‐Resolution Imaging of Mitochondrial Cristae Dynamics

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Regulation of molecular packing, phototoxicity, and ROS output of AIE photosensitizers is achieved through carboxylation and alkyl‐chain‐length tuning. The probe designed via this strategy enables super‐resolution visualization of inner‐mitochondrial‐membrane cristae dynamics under controlled oxidative stress, and fluorescence‐lifetime imaging of ...

Advances and Perspectives in Graphene‐Based Quantum Dots Enabled Neuromorphic Devices

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Graphene‐based QDs are zero‐dimensional carbon nanomaterials with pronounced quantum confinement and tunable electronic structures. Herein, we summarize their synthesis strategies and functionalization methods, and highlight their functional roles and operating mechanisms in devices, as well as recent advances in neuromorphic electronics. We anticipate

DFT/TD-DFT investigations on photovoltaic properties of N-Phenyl-N-(thiophen-2-yl)-1H-Pyrrol-2-amine and N,N-diphenylthiophen-2-amine based hexatriyne-thiophene Dye-sensitizers for DSSCs

open access: yesMongolian Journal of Chemistry
The optoelectronic and charge transfer properties of dyes containing N,N-diphenylthiophen-2-amine (NBBT) or N-phenyl-N-(thiophen-2-yl)-1H-pyrrol-2-amine (NTPA) as donor were computationally studied using density functional theory (DFT) and time dependent-

Side Chain Elimination Enables Low‐Cost Fused‐Ring Acceptors and Reveals a Compact Tetrameric Structure for High‐Photocurrent Organic Solar Cells

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
β‐side chain elimination enables cost‐effective fused‐ring acceptors, JSM5 and JSM6, with simplified synthesis. The observed compact tetrameric structures induced by S···N intermolecular interactions lead to 3D charge transport and enhance intermolecular connectivity, delivering high short‐circuit current density up to 28 mA cm−2, a step closer to the ...
