(1) Bis (dimethylthiocarbamoyl) monosulfideを水の存在において熱分解をした.その生成物として二硫化炭素, tetramethylthioureaおよびdimethylammonium dimethyldithiocarbamateを単離し,硫化カルボニル,硫化水素およびジメチルアミンの生成を確認した.このことよりthiramは水の存在においても乾熱分解の場合と同様,まず鎖状に結合するイオウの1原子が分離してbis (dimethylthiocarbamoyl) monosulfideとなることが判明した.
