Elevated Connectivity During Language Processing Is Associated With Cognitive Performance in SeLECTS
ABSTRACT Objective Self‐Limited Epilepsy with Centrotemporal Spikes (SeLECTS) is associated with language impairments despite seizures originating in the motor cortex, suggesting aberrant cross‐network interactions. Here we tested whether functional connectivity in SeLECTS during language tasks predicts language performance.

RNA Sequencing Resolves Cryptic Pathogenic Variants in Mitochondrial Disease
ABSTRACT Objective Mitochondrial diseases are the most common inherited metabolic disorders, characterized by pronounced clinical and genetic heterogeneity that complicates molecular diagnosis. Although DNA‐based sequencing approaches have become standard in genetic testing, up to half of patients remain without a definitive diagnosis.

Functional differential equations of third order
In this paper, we consider the third-order neutral functional differential equation with distributed deviating arguments. We give sufficient conditions for the oscillatory behavior of this functional differential equation.

ABSTRACT Background Collaterals are crucial factors that influence the infarct growth rate (IGR). We aimed to determine whether a comprehensive multimodal collateral score (MCS), incorporating collateral assessment at the arterial, tissue, and venous levels, is associated with functional independence and provides incremental prognostic value over ...

A range of actors, including government, third sector organisations (TSOs) and academics, have claimed recently that third sector organisations (TSOs) can play an important role in supporting people to adopt pro-environmental behaviours.

Sertraline Treatment Can Mimic Niemann‐Pick Type C Biomarker Profile: A Diagnostic Pitfall
ABSTRACT Background Oxysterols (cholestane‐3β,5α,6β‐triol and 7‐ketocholesterol) and N‐palmitoyl‐O‐phosphocholineserine (PPCS) are sensitive biomarkers for Niemann‐Pick disease type C (NPC) screening. However, false‐positive results occur, with a biomarker profile suggestive of NPC despite the absence of pathogenic variants in genes involved in NPC or ...

Periodic solutions of third order differential equations
In this paper, we study the existence of periodic solutions for the following piecewise third-order differential equation: $$ \dddot{x}+\dot{x}-\varepsilon\sum\limits_{i=1}^{2}c_i|x|^i=0, $$ with $\varepsilon$ a real parameter sufficiently small, $c_1$

Geometrical Picture of Third-Order Tensors [PDF]
Because of its strong physical meaning, the decomposition of a symmetric second-order tensor into a deviatoric and a spheric part is heavily used in continuum mechanics. When considering higher-order continua, third-order tensors naturally appear in the formulation of the problem.

Clinical Impact of NOTCH3 Variant Location After First Stroke in CADASIL
ABSTRACT Objective Despite its monogenic origin, Cerebral Autosomal Dominant Arteriopathy with Subcortical Infarcts and Leukoencephalopathy exhibits marked variability in clinical expression and severity. Variants in the NOTCH3 gene, within epidermal growth factor‐like repeat domains 1–6 or 7–34, are known to influence disease onset, but their impact ...
