In the United Kingdom all specialties and primary care are calling out for more doctors. The government's response has been to open more medical schools and increase the places in existing schools. 12‐HETE Is an Endogenous Modulator of BLT2 Triggering Vascular Degeneration, Dissection, and Rupture
In thoracic aortic dissection (TAD), elevated levels of the arachidonic acid metabolite 12‐HETE, produced by macrophage‐specific 12/15‐lipoxygenase (12/15‐LOX), bind to the BLT2 receptor on vascular cells. This activates the NOX‐1/ROS/NF‐κB signaling pathway, leading to IL‐6 release.
