Evaluation of Thrace Region fine coal tailings

The 79.9% of lignites in Turkey possesses a calorific value lower than 2500 kcal/kg. In order to reduce the energy dependence of the country, it would be right to evaluate these lignite reserves of 11.8 billion tons by effective coal preparation methods and use them with clean coal combustion systems together with developing technology.
