Three-Dimensional Image Mosaicking Using Multiple Projection Planes for 3-D Visualization of Roadside Standing Buildings

A novel image-mosaicking technique suitable for 3-D visualization of roadside buildings on websites or mobile systems is proposed. Our method was tested on a roadside building scene taken using a side-looking video camera employing a continuous set of vertical-textured planar faces.
