Reconstruction method for three-dimensional temperature field on the aircraft model surface

open access: yesKongqi donglixue xuebao
A method for reconstructing the three-dimensional temperature field of an aircraft model surface is proposed to address the issues of low resolution of infrared images and limited testing angles in wind tunnel tests, which result in insufficient accuracy

Flow Field and Temperature Field of Water-Cooling-Type Magnetic Coupling

open access: yesChinese Journal of Mechanical Engineering, 2019
At present, the water-cooling simulation of the water-cooled magnetic coupler is based on the water-cooled motor and the hydraulic coupler, which cannot accurately characterize the temperature distribution of the rotating water-cooled coupling of the ...

Three-Dimensional Temperature Field Reconstruction Based on Tucker Decomposition and Acoustic Thermometry

open access: yesApplied Sciences
Accurate temperature measurement in coal-fired power plants is crucial for optimizing combustion and achieving deep load regulation. While acoustic temperature measurement is an efficient and stable method, its practical application is limited to two ...

Reconstruction of three-dimensional temperature fields in micro-fixed bed reactor based on infrared thermography and thermal probe method

open access: yesAIP Advances, 2021
Aiming at determining the characteristics of small volume and complex heat and mass transfer of micro-reactors, an online measurement system was designed and built. The temperature of the reactor surface was measured by infrared thermography.

Partial depletion of plasminogen activator inhibitor‐1 decreases subcutaneous fat cell hypertrophy and liver cholesterol in high‐fat‐fed female mice

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Obesity raises blood levels of PAI‐1, a protein linked to metabolic dysfunction‐associated steatotic liver disease in people with obesity. In female mice fed a high‐fat diet, partially lowering PAI‐1 led to smaller subcutaneous fat cells and lower liver cholesterol, without changing body weight or insulin sensitivity.

Artificial molecular machines and motors—Design and control of nanoscale motion

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Molecules are constantly moving because of thermal fluctuations, but random motion alone cannot be exploited to perform directional tasks. Artificial molecular machines use chemical, electrical, or light energy to bias this motion. Molecular shuttles, rotary motors, and supramolecular pumps illustrate how nanoscale movement can be controlled and ...

Surrogate modeling of melt pool temperature field using deep learning

open access: yesAdditive Manufacturing Letters, 2023
Powder-based additive manufacturing has transformed the manufacturing industry over the last decade. In the Laser Powder Bed Fusion (L-PBF) process, a specific part is built in an iterative manner in which two-dimensional cross-sections are formed on top

Smaller is better: nanobodies meet NMR

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Nanobodies are single‐domain antigen‐binding fragments derived from camelid heavy chain antibodies. Their small size, high stability, and exceptional specificity make nanobodies uniquely useful probes for NMR studies of protein dynamics, transient conformational states, and protein–protein interactions.

Fast and robust three-dimensional best path phase unwrapping algorithm [PDF]

open access: yes, 2007
What we believe to be a novel three-dimensional (3D) phase unwrapping algorithm is proposed to unwrap 3D wrapped-phase volumes. It depends on a quality map to unwrap the most reliable voxels first and the least reliable voxels last.
