We have established a humanized orthotopic patient‐derived xenograft (Hu‐oPDX) mouse model of high‐grade serous ovarian cancer (HGSOC) that recapitulates human tumor–immune interactions. Using combined anti‐PD‐L1/anti‐CD73 immunotherapy, we demonstrate the model's improved biological relevance and enhanced translational value for preclinical ...

Application of the SSA to the Optimal Phase-Swapping Problem in Three-Phase Asymmetric Networks
This research addresses the optimal phase-balancing problem by applying a master-slave optimization methodology. The master stage defines the load connections per node using a discrete codification, while the slave stage evaluates each load ...

Distribution line models analysis for loss calculation within three-phase three-wire power flow algorithms [PDF]
Three-phase three-wire power flow algorithms, as any tool for power systems analysis, require reliable impedances and models in order to obtain accurate results.

CCDC80 suppresses high‐grade serous ovarian cancer migration via negative regulation of B7‐H3
PAX8 is a lineage‐specific master regulator of transcription in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer (HGSC) progression. We show for the first time that PAX8 facilitates proliferation and metastasis by repressing the cell autonomous tumor suppressor CCDC80 and inducing B7‐H3 expression.

Grid-tie Three-phase Inverter With Active and Reactive Power Flow Control Capability
This paper proposes a methodology for the active and reactive power flow control, applied to a low voltage grid-tie three-phase power inverter. The control technique is designed by means of feedback linearization and the pole placement is obtained using

Application of the Vortex Search Algorithm to the Phase-Balancing Problem in Distribution Systems
This article discusses the problem of minimizing power loss in unbalanced distribution systems through phase-balancing. This problem is represented by a mixed-integer nonlinear-programming mathematical model, which is solved by applying a discretely ...

Gamma radiation methods for clamp-on multiphase flow metering [PDF]
The development of a cost-effective multiphase flow meter to determine the individual phase flow rates of oil, water and gas was investigated through the exploitation of a single clamp-on gamma densitometer and signal processing techniques.

Comparison of DNS of Compressible and Incompressible Turbulent Droplet-Laden Heated Channel Flow with Phase Transition [PDF]
Multiphase flows in which a large number of small droplets are dispersed in a gas, play an important role in a variety of applications. At sufficiently high mass and volume fraction the presence of the dispersed droplet phase directly modulates the flow ...

EXOSC10, an essential nuclear RNA exosome‐associated 3′‐5′ exoribonuclease, is inhibited by the anticancer drug 5‐fluorouracil (5‐FU), and EXOSC10 depletion increases 5‐FU sensitivity. The colon‐cancer variant EXOSC10S402T, located in a proteolysis motif, is stable and nuclear but nonfunctional in vivo.
