Cancellation of inductor winding capacitance

open access: yes, 2006
An inductor device or filter such as an electromagnetic interference (EMI) filter which includes an inductor provides cancellation of parasitic capacitance of the inductor and extends high frequency performance of the inductor or filter by providing the ...

Quasi‐Z‐source inverter with switched‐coupled‐capacitors

open access: yesIET Power Electronics
This paper presents an improved switched‐inductor quasi‐Z‐source inverter with a higher boost factor than similar inverters, which integrates a switched‐capacitor and a three‐winding switched‐coupled inductor into a conventional quasi Z‐source inverter ...

A voltage-clamped bidirectional fault current limiter based on a three-winding coupled inductor for DC power grids

open access: yesInternational Journal of Electrical Power & Energy Systems
The DC fault is a serious challenge to voltage-source-converter-based HVDC (VSC-HVDC) systems, and the fault current limiter (FCL) is one of the key measures to solve the DC fault and reduce the capacity of the DC circuit breaker.

Blood‐based proteomic profiling reveals context‐dependent changes in BCL2‐associated signaling during taxane therapy in breast cancer patients

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Chemotherapy side effects significantly impact cancer survivors' quality of life. Using protein levels in blood samples from breast cancer patients before and after 12 weeks of taxane treatment, we detected treatment‐dependent changes in calcium signaling and aging pathways associated with cancer recurrence.

A New Step‐Up DC/DC Converter With Low Voltage and Current Stresses

open access: yesIET Power Electronics
This paper presents a new high‐voltage gain DC/DC converter for renewable energy applications. This converter can provide an ultra‐high voltage gain in a low‐duty cycle. Moreover, a three‐winding coupled‐inductor (TWCI) is combined with a quadratic boost

A Multiport High Step-Up DC-DC Converter with a Bidirectional Port for Battery and Photovoltaic Panels Integration in Solar Power Plants [PDF]

open access: yesInternational Journal of Industrial Electronics, Control and Optimization
In solar power plants with energy storage systems (ESSs), a multi-port DC-DC converter (MPDC) equipped with a bidirectional port is more favorable than multiple single-input converters due to its simpler control, higher efficiency, lower cost, and higher

Design and Development of a Three-Winding Coupled- Inductor DC-DC Converter Topology with SwitchStress

open access: yes
Abstract This proposed paper presents a DC-DC boost converter topology for low input and high output voltage applications, such as photovoltaic systems, fuel cell systems, high-intensity discharge lamp (HID), and electric vehicles. The suggested configuration consists of a three-winding coupled-inductor, a single switch and two hybrid voltage ...

YIPFα1A expression is regulated by multilayered molecular mechanisms

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
YIPFα1A, a five‐pass Golgi protein, is regulated at multiple layers. (1) Rare‐codon enrichment drives translation‐coupled mRNA decay. (2) A proximal 3′‐UTR element stabilizes mRNA. (3) A distal 3′‐UTR element included by alternate poly(A) site usage represses translation, which can be overridden by the proximal 3′‐UTR element.

Derivation and characterization of retinal pigment epithelium from urine‐derived iPSCs

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Age‐related macular degeneration causes vision loss via RPE dysfunction and loss. Traditional iPSC therapies rely on invasive biopsies, limiting scalability. Here, we utilize urine‐derived stem cells as an accessible source to generate u‐iPSCs, successfully differentiated into pigmented RPE. This “Urine‐to‐Retina” platform provides a promising path for
