Threshold Ring Signatures and Applications to Ad-hoc Groups [PDF]

open access: yes, 2002
In this paper, we investigate the recent paradigm for group signatures proposed by Rivest et al. at Asiacrypt '01. We first improve on their ring signature paradigm by showing that it holds under a strictly weaker assumption, namely the random oracle model rather than the ideal cipher.

Faster threshold-SM2 with identifiable abort and non-interactive online signing

open access: yesCybersecurity
Threshold signatures are essential for fault-tolerant applications among groups of users, such as in blockchain transactions. SM2 is a digital signature standard in China and ISO, yet its threshold variant is less developed compared to international ...

Novel pyroptosis-immune-related lncRNA signature exhibits a distinct immune cell infiltration landscape in breast cancer

open access: yesFrontiers in Immunology
IntroductionThis study investigated pyroptosis- and immunity-related long non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs) to identify promising therapeutic targets for breast cancer (BC), and constructed lncRNA signatures to determine the prognosis and immunotherapy responses

A novel platelets-related gene signature for predicting prognosis, immune features and drug sensitivity in gastric cancer

open access: yesFrontiers in Immunology
BackgroundPlatelets can dynamically regulate tumor development and progression. Nevertheless, research on the predictive value and specific roles of platelets in gastric cancer (GC) is limited.

Threshold Signatures, Multisignatures and Blind Signatures Based on the Gap-Diffie-Hellman-Group Signature Scheme [PDF]

open access: yes, 2002
We propose a robust proactive threshold signature scheme, a multisignature scheme and a blind signature scheme which work in any Gap Diffie-Hellman (GDH) group (where the Computational Diffie-Hellman problem is hard but the Decisional Diffie-Hellman problem is easy).

Treatment failure and drug resistance in HIV‐positive patients on tenofovir‐based first‐line antiretroviral therapy in western Kenya

open access: yesJournal of the International AIDS Society, 2016
Introduction Tenofovir‐based first‐line antiretroviral therapy (ART) is recommended globally. To evaluate the impact of its incorporation into the World Health Organization (WHO) guidelines, we examined treatment failure and drug resistance among a ...

A phase 2a double-blind, placebo-controlled, randomized clinical trial evaluating the efficacy and safety of NuGel, a novel topical GPCR19-mediated inflammasome inhibitor, in patients with mild to moderate atopic dermatitis: a proof-of-concept study with Post-hoc biomarker analysis

open access: yesFrontiers in Immunology
BackgroundCurrent guidelines to treat atopic dermatitis (AD) overlook disease heterogeneity, limiting personalized care. This study assessed NuGel, a topical GPCR19 agonist, for efficacy, safety, and predictive baseline biomarkers in AD patients ...
