Improved thrombolytic effect with focused ultrasound and neuroprotective agent against acute carotid artery thrombosis in rat [PDF]
Combination therapy with focused ultrasound (FUS) and a neuroprotective agent, BNG-1, was examined in an acute carotid thrombotic occlusion model using LED irradiation in rat to improve the thrombolytic effect of rt-PA. Seven treatment groups included (A)

A multimodal intravital imaging platform enables longitudinal tracking of human cortical organoids transplanted into chronic stroke lesions. By combining surgical microscopy, MRI, bioluminescence imaging, and two‐photon fluorescence microscopy, the platform captures graft placement, viability dynamics, and cellular‐scale morphology in vivo, offering a ...

Data_Sheet_1_Magnetic Iron Sulfide Nanoparticles as Thrombolytic Agents for Magnetocaloric Therapy and Photothermal Therapy of Thrombosis.docx [PDF]
Non-invasive removal of thrombosis is a difficult problem in clinical vascular disease. Herein, we reported magnetic hyperthermia combined photothermal therapy for celiac vein thrombosis using Fe3S4 nanoparticles as thrombolytic agents under the ...

Thermochemical Micro‐Explosion for Prompt Thrombolysis via Proximal Injection of Liquid Alkali Metal
We report a micro‐explosive thermochemical thrombolysis (METCT) therapy via injectable liquid alkali metal encapsulated in dimethyl silicone (LAM@oil). METCT enables prompt and safe vascular recanalization within 90 s. Critically, the LAM@oil system demonstrates significantly higher thrombolytic efficacy compared to clinically available thrombolytic ...

We report a novel embolus‐induced PE rat model prepared via the inferior vena cava under ultrasound guidance. The embolus employed featured a tubular plastic casing filled with thrombus. By minimizing the contact surface between plasmin and thrombus, it effectively restrains the elevated plasmin activity in rats.

In-vitro thrombolytic activity of Allium cepa L. group Aggregatum (Shallot) ethanolic extract [PDF]
Thrombosis refers to the formation of a blood clot within a blood vessel. It is associated with conditions such as myocardial infarction, ischemic stroke, and deep vein thrombosis that may be affected by obesity, age, cholesterol levels, and similar risk

Acute ischemic stroke due to large vessel occlusion is associated with rapid intravascular immune activation. Analysis of arterial blood sampled distal to the thrombus during mechanical thrombectomy revealed increased extracellular adenosine triphosphate (ATP) and interleukin‐1β (IL‐1β) levels, evidence of inflammasome priming in monocytes, and ...

Harnessing blood clot as a native scaffold for orchestrating tissue repairs and regeneration
The blood clot, owing to its dynamic composition and unique microenvironment, holds significant yet underappreciated potential for tissue engineering. This review systematically summarizes the pathophysiology of clot formation, the key regulatory factors shaping its microenvironment, and its applications in both pre‐clinical and clinical settings ...

Cloning and expression of a new recombinant thrombolytic and anthithrombotic agent - a staphylokinase variant [PDF]
To develop a more potent antithrombin agent with thrombolytic and antiplatelet properties, a new staphylokinase (SAK) variant was constructed. The kringle 2 domain (K2) of tissue type-plasminogen activator (t-PA) containing a fibrin-specific binding site
