Thulium Holmium co-doped tunable fiber laser [PDF]

open access: yesEPJ Web of Conferences
We report a Tm-Ho co-doped fiber laser with continuous tunability between 1965-2120 nm thanks to a rotating diffraction grating in the laser cavity. It delivers an OSNR of over 60 dB at the central wavelength 2060 nm.

Near‐Unity Chiral Lasing Enabled by Quasi‐Bound States in the Continuum

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Nanoimprinted chiral array that supports bound states in the continuum is doped with an efficient non‐chiral molecule (Rhodamine‐B) acting as gain medium to produce fully circularly polarized lasing emission. The chiral lasing wavelength can be tuned across the emission band of Rhodamine‐B by adjusting the coating thickness of the TiO2 high refractive ...

Laser Operation of Tm: LuAG Single-Crystal Fiber Grown by the Micro-Pulling down Method

open access: yesCrystals, 2021
Single crystals fiber (SCF) of LuAG doped with 2.0 at.% thulium has been grown by using micro-pulling down (µ-PD) technique. A continuous-wave output power of 2.44 W was achieved with a slope efficiency of 11.7% using a 783-nm diode laser as pump source.

All-Optical Actively Mode-Locked Fiber Laser at 2-μm Based on Interband Modulation

open access: yesIEEE Photonics Journal, 2017
In this paper, we have achieved a high repetition rate and tunable pulse generation near ∼2 μm through an all-optical actively mode-locked fiber laser. The performances of the fiber laser have been systematically investigated through

Seedless One‐Pot Synthesis of Colloidal InAs Quantum Dots Enabling a High‐Accuracy Photoplethysmography Oximeter

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A real‐time, non‐contact photoplethysmography (PPG) system based on InAs colloidal quantum dots (CQDs) synthesized via a seedless injection synthesis is demonstrated. The measured oxygen saturation shows considerable agreement with commercial PPG devices.

Widely Tunable Watt-Level Single-Frequency Tm-Doped Fiber Ring Laser as Pump for Mid-IR Frequency Generation

open access: yesIEEE Photonics Journal, 2016
We demonstrate a thulium-doped fiber ring laser (TDFRL) integrated with an amplifier, which has a watt-level single-frequency output at 2 $\mu\text{m}$ with a 120-nm wavelength tunability. The TDFRL is constructed based on a hybrid ring-linear resonator

Light‐Switched Mesenchymal Stem Cells for In Situ Exosome Amplification in Craniofacial Bone Defect Reconstruction

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Light‐switchable MSCs (MSC‐UCNPs) were constructed by intracellular incorporation of UCNPs. Upon 980 nm irradiation, UCNPs emitted localized ultraviolet light (365 nm), activating the ROS/HEXB/LAMP1 signaling pathway to suppress lysosome–multivesicular body fusion and thereby enhance exosome biogenesis. Embedded within an injectable hydrogel, MSC‐UCNPs
