Fabrication of visible-light-active MR/NH2-MIL-125(Ti) homojunction with boosted photocatalytic performance

, 2021
Visible-light-active MR/NH2-MIL-125(Ti) homojunction was successfully synthesized via post-synthetic modification of NH2-MIL-125(Ti). A chromophore group (–MR) similar to the structure of methyl red, was introduced to partially replace the –NH2 group ...

Ti-Ti Bonding in γ-TiAl and f.c.c. Ti

Philosophical Magazine B, 1994
Abstract The flow and fracture of high-temperature intermetallic alloys is strongly influenced by the propagation and cross-slip of ordinary and super dislocations. One factor associated with the poor ductility of TiAl is an apparently large Peierls stress, or lattice friction stress for the glide of ordinary (1/2(110)) dislocations.

PIIID-formed (Ti, O)/Ti, (Ti, N)/Ti and (Ti, O, N)/Ti coatings on NiTi shape memory alloy for medical applications

Materials Science and Engineering: C, 2012
(Ti, O)/Ti, (Ti, N)/Ti and (Ti, O, N)/Ti composite coatings were fabricated on NiTi shape memory alloy via plasma immersion ion implantation and deposition (PIIID). Surface morphology of samples was investigated using atomic force microscopy (AFM) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM).
