Multiple‐TE Based Blood–Brain‐Barrier Water Exchange Time Measurement Using a TE‐Resolved 3D TSE Stack‐Of‐Spirals Readout

open access: yesMagnetic Resonance in Medicine, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Purpose To develop a slice‐wise blurring‐free and densely sampled TE‐resolved multiple‐TE (mTE) ASL sequence (TASL) for measuring blood–brain barrier (BBB) water exchange time. Methods A 3D TSE spiral‐readout pCASL sequence was modified to enable TE‐resolved acquisition.

Surface Engineering of Ti3C2Tx MXenes via Silanol Functionalization for Improved Electrochemical Performance

open access: yesSmall, EarlyView.
This study explores the covalent functionalization of Ti3C2Tx using 5,5′‐bis(triisopropoxysilyl)‐2,2′‐bipyridine in different solvents, revealing that only m‐xylene enables effective covalent bonding, ensuring structural stability and preventing layer swelling.

The Effect of Titanium Carbonitride on the Viscosity of High-Titanium-Type Blast Furnace Slag

open access: yesMetals, 2019
In this paper, the effect of titanium carbonitride (Ti(C,N)) on the viscosity of high-titanium-type blast furnace slags was investigated. The different Ti(C,N) contents were achieved by adjusting the reduction degree of TiO2 to reflect the real ...

Contact Resistance of Ti-Si-C-Ag and Ti-Si-C-Ag-Pd Nanocomposite Coatings

open access: yesJournal of Electronic Materials, 2011
Ti-Si-C-Ag-Pd and Ti-Si-C-Ag nanocomposite coatings were deposited by direct-current magnetron sputtering on Cu substrates with an electroplated Ni layer. Analytical electron microscopy, x-ray diffraction, and x-ray photoelectron spectroscopy show that the nanocomposites consist of TiC, Ag:Pd, and amorphous SiC. The contact resistance of these coatings

Laser‐Induced‐Structural Transformation in Ti3CNTx MXene Monitored by Raman Spectroscopy with DFT Insight

open access: yesSmall, EarlyView.
A multi‐wavelength Raman study of microwave‐assisted hydrothermal Ti3CNTx MXene, supported by theoretical calculations, identifies laser‐power thresholds and evaluates its ambient‐condition stability. ABSTRACT MXenes are emerging 2D nanomaterials that have attracted growing attention for their highly tunable atomic structure, composition, and surface ...

Ti3C2Tx (MXene)‐Polystyrene Based Passivation for Perovskite Solar Cells With Enhanced Stability

open access: yesSmall, EarlyView.
A new class of surface passivation strategy by integrating conductive 2D Ti3C2Tx and hydrophobic polystyrene for stable perovskite solar cells is introduced in this work. Polystyrene‐MXene passivated devices retained more than 93% of their initial efficiencies after storing in ambient air with high humidity conditions for 30 days.

In-situ reaction compositing behavior of the Ni62Ti38+C interlayer and its effects on interfacial microstructure and mechanical properties of the Cf/C-GH3044 joint

open access: yesJournal of Materials Research and Technology
Leveraging the in-situ reactive composite formation characteristic between the Ni–Ti alloy and carbon, a novel joining process was proposed to address the high residual stress and poor heat-resistance encountered in Cf/C-GH3044 joint.
