Ferroelectric Dynamic‐Field‐Driven Nucleation and Growth Model for Predictive Materials‐To‐Circuit Co‐Design

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
This study presents a compact dynamic‐field‐driven nucleation and growth (DFNG) model that captures ferroelectric switching behavior under arbitrary voltage waveforms. It enables extraction of time‐dependent domain wall velocity and growth dimensionality, which can then be extended to device‐level modeling.

A study of electron momentum density in Ti_Al system.

open access: yesTikrit Journal of Pure Science, 2018
We present the electron momentum densities of TiAl , Ti3Al and TiAl3 alloys in terms of Compton profile. Compton profiles (CP) of Ti and Al metals were calculated by adopting the renormalized free atom (RFA) and free electron models and choosing (3d3 ...

Toward a Unified Mechanistic Understanding of Polymer Electrolytes for Advanced Solid‐State Batteries

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Polymer electrolytes (PEs) are often indiscriminately grouped as “solid polymer electrolytes (SPEs)”, despite fundamental differences in their ion‐transport mechanisms. This Perspective establishes a mechanism‐based framework that distinguishes gel, quasi‐solid, and all‐solid polymer electrolytes based on their dominant ion‐transport pathways.

All‐Polyimide‐Mediated Liquid Metal Assembly on Aerogels for Breathable and Robust Electronic Skins

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
An all‐polyimide‐mediated assembly strategy resolves the fundamental conflict between physiological breathability and electromechanical robustness in wearable electronics. By integrating a polyamic acid‐encapsulated liquid metal ink onto an ultralight polyimide aerogel, imidization‐induced contraction enables low‐temperature conductive activation and ...

Phase Diagrams Enable Solid‐State Battery Design

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Interfaces, EarlyView.
Batteries are non‐equilibrium devices with inherent thermodynamic driving forces to react at interfaces, regardless of kinetics or operating conditions. Chemical potential mismatches across interfaces are dissipated via interfacial reactions. In this work, it is illustrated how phase diagrams and chemical potential maps predict degradation pathways but

Long Term Oxidation of Model and Engineering TiAl Alloys [PDF]

open access: yes, 2001
The purpose of this research was to characterize the oxidation behavior of several model (TiAl, TiAl-Nb, TiAl-Cr, TiAl-Cr-Nb) and engineering alloys (XD, K5, Alloy 7, WMS) after long-term isothermal exposure ({approx}7000 h) at 704 C, and after shorter ...
