$p$-adic Dual Shearlet Frames [PDF]
We introduced the continuous and discrete $p$-adic shearlet systems. We restrict ourselves to a brief description of the $p$-adic theory and shearlets in real case.

Data-Driven Tight Frame for Cryo-EM Image Denoising and Conformational Classification
The cryo-electron microscope (cryo-EM) is increasingly popular these years. It helps to uncover the biological structures and functions of macromolecules. In this paper, we address image denoising problem in cryo-EM. Denoising the cryo-EM images can help

Constructing tight fusion frames
A tight fusion frame is a sequence of orthogonal projection operators that sum to a scalar multiple of the identity operator. The authors resolve the question of existence of such frames in the special case where the underlying space is finite-dimensional and the fusion frame's subspaces have equal dimension.

Structural biology of ferritin nanocages
Ferritin is a conserved iron‐storage protein that sequesters iron as a ferric mineral core within a nanocage, protecting cells from oxidative damage and maintaining iron homeostasis. This review discusses ferritin biology, structure, and function, and highlights recent cryo‐EM studies revealing mechanisms of ferritinophagy, cellular iron uptake, and ...

Construction of Periodic Wavelet Frames Generated by the Walsh Polynomials
An explicit method for the construction of a tight wavelet frame generated by the Walsh polynomials with the help of extension principles was presented by Shah (Shah, 2013).

Steiner equiangular tight frames
We provide a new method for constructing equiangular tight frames (ETFs). The construction is valid in both the real and complex settings, and shows that many of the few previously-known examples of ETFs are but the first representatives of infinite families of such frames. It provides great freedom in terms of the frame's size and redundancy.

Structural insights into an engineered feruloyl esterase with improved MHET degrading properties
A feruloyl esterase was engineered to mimic key features of MHETase, enhancing the degradation of PET oligomers. Structural and computational analysis reveal how a point mutation stabilizes the active site and reshapes the binding cleft, expading substrate scope.
