ACS Nano, 2014 We present a scheme to categorize the structure of different layered phosphorene allotropes by mapping their non-planar atomic structure onto a two-color 2D triangular tiling pattern. In the buckled structure of a phosphorene monolayer, we assign atoms in "top" positions to dark tiles and atoms in "bottom" positions to light tiles.

Sub‐Terahertz Memristor Switches Using MoS2 by Liquid–Liquid Interface Assembly
Advanced Science, EarlyView.This work introduces application‐ready sub‐terahertz memristor switches fabricated from electrochemically exfoliated MoS2 nanosheets assembled at a liquid–liquid interface. The devices exhibit robust unipolar resistive switching, low insertion loss, and high isolation across 10–110 GHz.

Undecidability of Translational Tiling with Three Tiles
CoRRIs there a fixed dimension $n$ such that translational tiling of $\mathbb{Z}^n$ with a monotile is undecidable? Several recent results support a positive answer to this question. Greenfeld and Tao disprove the periodic tiling conjecture by showing that an aperiodic monotile exists in sufficiently high dimension $n$ [Ann. Math. 200(2024), 301-363].
