A Versatile Tiling Light Sheet Microscope for Imaging of Cleared Tissues

open access: yesCell Reports, 2020
We present a tiling light sheet microscope compatible with all tissue clearing methods for rapid multicolor 3D imaging of cleared tissues with micron-scale (4 × 4 × 10 μm3) to submicron-scale (0.3 × 0.3 × 1 μm3) spatial resolution.

RAPT360: Reinforcement Learning-Based Rate Adaptation for 360-Degree Video Streaming With Adaptive Prediction and Tiling

IEEE transactions on circuits and systems for video technology (Print), 2021
Tile-based rate adaption can improve the quality of experience (QoE) for adaptive 360-degree video streaming under constrained network conditions, which, however, is a challenging problem due to the requirements of accurate prediction for users ...

TBRA: Tiling and Bitrate Adaptation for Mobile 360-Degree Video Streaming

ACM Multimedia, 2021
Tile-based approach is widely adopted in adaptive 360\textdegree~video streaming systems. Existing QoE-driven streaming approaches usually obtain the tile selection and adjust the bitrate based on the viewport prediction with a fixed tiling, which fail ...

DNA Tiles, Wang Tiles and Combinators [PDF]

open access: possibleFundamenta Informaticae, 2014
We investigate the relation between Combinatory Logic and Wang Tiles with the aim of studying Combinators as a programming language for Self-Assembly and DNA computing. We introduce a subset of Combinatory Logic, SKI#, which is Turing Complete, includes simply Typed Combinatory Logic and contains only combinators whose computations require finitely ...
