Deep Learning‐Assisted Design of Mechanical Metamaterials
This review examines the role of data‐driven deep learning methodologies in advancing mechanical metamaterial design, focusing on the specific methodologies, applications, challenges, and outlooks of this field. Mechanical metamaterials (MMs), characterized by their extraordinary mechanical behaviors derived from architected microstructures, have ...

An algebraic invariant for substitution tiling systems, Geometriae Dedicata 73 [PDF]
. We consider tilings of Euclidean spaces by polygons or polyhedra, in particular, tilings made by a substitution process, such as the Penrose tilings of the plane.

Capacitive, charge‐domain compute‐in‐memory (CIM) stores weights as capacitance, eliminating DC sneak paths and IR‐drop, yielding near‐zero standbypower. In this perspective, we present a device to systems level performance analysis of most promising architectures and predict apathway for upscaling capacitive CIM for sustainable edge computing ...

Sequential multicolor fluorescence imaging in dynamic microsystems is constrained by acquisition speed and excitation dose. This study introduces a real‐time framework to reconstruct spectrally separated channels from reduced cross‐channel acquisitions (frames containing mixed spectral contributions).

Construction problems as Tiling Puzzles [PDF]
The design of building construction parts often means design synthesis: complex parts will be generated gradually by smaller subparts or elements. Since construction parts are three dimensional geometrical objects and many of them are built from mutually

Autonomous X‐Ray Fluorescence Mapping for Nanoscale Chemical Speciation of Fine Particulate Matter
We present X‐AutoMap, an autonomous X‐ray fluorescence mapping framework that integrates real‐time analysis with rule‐based computer vision to selectively target chemically relevant regions. By avoiding background‐dominated areas, the method reduces acquisition time by fourfold while enabling accurate particle‐level speciation.

Exploring the Feasibility of Novel 3D Polyhedrally-Tiled Computing Arrays
Polyhedral tiled computing arrays (PTCAs) are a largely unexplored paradigm in which the assembly of high performance computing (HPC) structures may be achieved by the multidimensional tiling of particular polyhedral modules, each housing computing ...
