Accelerate Mass Transport of Proton and Carbon Sources by Super-Hygroscopic and Porous Nanosheets for Continuous CO2-To-Ethylene Upgrade. [PDF]

open access: yesAdv Sci (Weinh)
The conceptual diagram of the Tillandsia and a localized enlargement of its leaves. Abstract Gas‐water/catalyst triple‐phase interface and the microenvironment play critical roles in the reaction kinetics and production rate of electrochemical carbon dioxide reduction reactions (CO2RR), which steer concerted proton‐electron transfer steps.

Nature-Inspired Design Strategies for Efficient Atmospheric Water Harvesting. [PDF]

open access: yesAdv Mater
This review presents advances in bioinspired atmospheric water harvesting systems, emphasizing how structural motifs such as wettability gradients, directional transport, and hierarchical porosity have been translated into engineered fog‐collection and vapor‐sorption strategies for enhanced water uptake, accelerated transport, and energy‐efficient ...

Floral Roles in Hummingbirds-Mediated Indirect Plant Interactions in Tropical Andean Communities. [PDF]

open access: yesEcol Evol
Hummingbirds connect plants by moving pollen. Some flowers primarily donate, while, others primarily receive, and these shifting roles influence plant reproductive success depending on abundance and nectar rewards, shaping plant reproduction in the tropical Andes. Chord diagrams represent heterospecific pollen transfer among 31 flowering species across

Unraveling Biogeographic Boundaries Within the Sierra Madre Oriental, México: An Endemicity Analysis Using a Taxonomically Diverse Dataset. [PDF]

open access: yesEcol Evol
We provide boundaries of the Sierra Madre Oriental in Mexico through a multi‐taxa endemicity analysis. ABSTRACT The Sierra Madre Oriental (SMO) is a significant mountain range and one of Mexico's 14 biogeographical provinces. Its delimitation has been debated.

Autumn Migration to Higher Latitudes in Seminole Bats (<i>Lasiurus seminolus</i>) Redefines Seasonal Ranges: Evidence From Stable Isotopes and Fatality Data From Wind Energy Facilities. [PDF]

open access: yesEcol Evol
We found 49 Seminole bats (Lasiurus seminolus) hundreds of kilometers outside of their currently accepted range boundary in autumn. Using a combination of genetic and molecular techniques, we determined that individuals had migrated north from the interior of their core range to well outside of the range.
