Sliding Mode Path following and Control Allocation of a Tilt-Rotor Quadcopter
A tilt-rotor quadcopter (TRQ) equipped with four tilt-rotors is more agile than its under-actuated counterpart and can fly at any path while maintaining the desired attitude.

For autonomous vehicles, high-speed cornering can easily lead to degraded handling stability and increased risks of sideslip or even rollover. Therefore, vehicle phase-plane stability-region analysis has become an important topic in active safety-control

Aerodynamic Configuration and Stability Analysis of a Split-Type Tilt-Rotor Cargo Flying Vehicle
The flying car, academically known as electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) aircraft, is one of the core vehicles for low-altitude transportation. The split-type tilt-rotor cargo flying vehicle that is composed of tilt rotors, a fixed wing, and a

Second-Order Subdifferential Calculus with Applications to Tilt Stability in Optimization [PDF]
The paper concerns the second-order generalized differentiation theory of variational analysis and new applications of this theory to some problems of constrained optimization in finitedimensional spaces. The main attention is paid to the so-called (full and partial) second-order subdifferentials of extended-real-valued functions, which are dual-type ...

Influence of a longitudinal and tilted vibration on stability and dewetting of a liquid film [PDF]
We consider the dynamics of a thin liquid film in the attractive substrate potential and under the action of a longitudinal or a tilted vibration. Using a multiscale technique we split the film motion into the oscillatory and the averaged parts. The frequency of the vibration is assumed high enough for the inertial effects to become essential for the ...

Development and stabilization of a low-cost single-tilt tricopter
In this paper, a low-cost single-tilting tricopter aerial vehicle is developed withoptical flow estimation for indoor navigation. A dynamic model is derived and experimental data is used to obtain the actuator constants. A CAD model is then developed and is used to obtain the moments of inertia with respect to the three main axes.
