Regeneration of tilted fiber Bragg gratings
The regeneration of Tilted Fiber Bragg Gratings photowritten in a singlemode SMF-28e fiber is investigated. Three tilted FBGs, with respectively 0°, 4° and 8° external tilt angles are annealed according to a conventional high temperature regeneration protocol.

Chirped and tilted fiber Bragg gratings (CTFBGs) have attracted a lot of attention in stimulated Raman scattering (SRS) suppression of high-power fiber lasers. However, the laser power handling capacity seriously limits their applications. In this paper,

Inscription and visualization of tilted fiber Bragg gratings
Tilted fiber Bragg gratings with different tilt angles have been inscribed in single-mode isotropic optical fiber with an increased photorefractivity using Talbot interferometer and KrF-excimer laser system. Their spectra are studied. Using a confocal laser scanning luminescent microscope the images of gratings in transmitted light were obtained.

Tilted fiber Bragg gratings in multicore optical fibers for optical sensing [PDF]
We have inscribed a tilted fiber Bragg grating (TFBG) in selected cores of a multicore optical fiber. The presence of the TFBG permits to couple light from the incident-guided mode to the cladding modes and to the neighbor cores, and this interaction can be used for optical sensing.

TILTED FIBER BRAGG GRATING SENSORS FOR REFRACTIVE INDEX MEASUREMENTS OF LIQUID SOLUTIONS
This publication presents the basic assumptions about the light guiding mechanisms in tilted fiber Bragg gratings, transmission spectra of the fiber with such structures and their sensor properties related to the occurrence of the so-called cladding ...

Single and Multiple Phase Shifts Tilted Fiber Bragg Gratings [PDF]
The spectral behavior of single and multiple phase shifts tilted fiber Bragg gratings has been experimentally investigated. To this aim, a simple and cost‐effective postprocessing technique based on local thermal treatment was used to create arbitrary phase shifts along the tilted grating structure. In particular, UV written tilted fiber Bragg gratings

Tilted fiber bragg gratings for label-free biosensing
We present fibre-optic-based biosensors for the specific detection of biological species. Three methods for immobilization of biomolecules at the sensor surface have been investigated using Bovine Serum Albumin (BSA) and anti-BSA as model biospecific pair.

Overview of Recent Advances in the Design of Plasmonic Fiber-Optic Biosensors
Plasmonic fiber-optic biosensors combine the flexibility and compactness of optical fibers and high sensitivity of nanomaterials to their surrounding medium, to detect biological species such as cells, proteins, and DNA. Due to their small size, accuracy,

Polarization Influence on Algorithms of TFBG Sensors Data Analysis for Bending Application
In this article we deal with the influence of polarization on determining the bending radius in TFBG (tilted fiber Bragg grating) sensors. The spectrum of TFBG structures changes under the influence of many factors at the same time.
