A Multibody Model of Tilt-Rotor Aircraft Based on Kane’s Method
A tilt-rotor aircraft can switch between two flight configurations (the helicopter configuration and the fixed-wing plane configuration) by tilting its rotors.

Identification of a Stochastic Dynamic Model for Aircraft Flight Attitude Based on Measured Data
Stochastic disturbances are everywhere. The influence of stochastic factors on the modeling and simulation of aircraft flight dynamics should be considered. Therefore, a stochastic differential equation for aircraft flight attitude is modeled based on the traditional one in this paper.

Lift Augmentation on a Tiltrotor Wing Using the Combination of Vortex Generators and Gurney’s Flap
Recently, flow control using vortex generators (VGs) and a Gurney flap (GF) has received considerable attention, but independently. The purpose of this study is to perform a numerical investigation into the lift augmentation effects of a tiltrotor wing with the combination of VGs and GF.

Lift Enhancement of Tiltrotor Wing Using a Gurney Flap
A numerical investigation was undertaken to explore the lift‐enhancing characteristics of the Gurney flap on a tiltrotor wing. The heights of Gurney flaps range from 1 to 4% wing chord lengths. The Navier‐Stokes equations with the Spalart‐Allmaras turbulence model were solved to simulate the flow structure around the Gurney flap.

Large‐slenderness‐ratio aircraft in which a large portion of the aircraft’s mass is concentrated along its centreline face the problem of severe lateral‐directional coupling. Previous research has not fully considered the inertia product when conducting stability analyses of such aircraft. However, neglecting the inertia product may threaten the safety

This study applies a novel cloud seeding method using an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) and a research aircraft in Korea. For this experiment, the UAV sprayed a cloud seeding material (calcium chloride), and the aircraft monitored the clouds in the southern part of the Korean Peninsula on April 25, 2019.

Whirl Flutter Suppression of Tiltrotor Aircraft Using Actively Controlled Aileron
Whirl flutter of a tiltrotor aircraft is a complex aeroelastic phenomenon and it can result in catastrophic consequences. The deflection of an aileron mounted on a wing has the potential to solve this fatal problem.

Interaction effects on the conversion corridor of tiltrotor aircraft [PDF]
AbstractThis paper presents an aeromechanics investigation of tiltrotor aircraft through the conversion regime of flight. The effects of the rotors-on-wing, rotors-on-empennage and wing-on-empennage interactions were investigated singularly and collectively to assess their impacts on trim behaviour, performance and conversion boundaries.

Modeling and Design of an Aircraft‐Mode Controller for a Fixed‐Wing VTOL UAV
Vertical takeoff and landing (VTOL) is an essential feature of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). On the one hand, VTOL can expand and enhance the applications of UAVs; yet, on the other hand, it makes the design of control systems for UAVs more complicated.

Aeroelastic Rotorcraft–Pilot Couplings in Tiltrotor Aircraft [PDF]
This work investigates rotorcraft–pilot coupling phenomena in tiltrotor aircraft. A detailed tiltrotor model, representative of the Bell XV-15, has been built.
