Improved results on finite time stability of time delay systems: Jensen's inequality-based approach [PDF]

open access: yesTehnika, 2018
In this study, finite-time stability of the linear continuous time-delay systems was investigated. A novel formulation of the Lyapunov-like function was used to develop a new sufficient delay-dependent condition for finite-time stability.

Aging Is a Key Driver for Adult Acute Myeloid Leukemia

open access: yesAging and Cancer, EarlyView.
Acute myeloid leukemia (AML) is a classical age‐related hematologic malignancy, and a key driver of AML is aging, which profoundly regulates intrinsic factors such as genomic instability, epigenetic reprogramming, and metabolic dysregulation, and alters bone marrow microenvironment.

Mutant NPM1 in Acute Myeloid Leukemia Initiation and Maintenance

open access: yesAging and Cancer, EarlyView.
NPM1 mutations drive acute myeloid leukemia by acting as neomorphic transcriptional regulators that cooperate with Menin–MLL and XPO1 to sustain HOX/MEIS1 expression and block differentiation. Targeting these mutant‐specific transcriptional dependencies provides a rational therapeutic strategy for NPM1‐mutated AML.

Delay-dependent robust stability criteria for uncertain systems with interval time-varying delay

open access: yes, 2008
This paper proposes an approach for the robust stability of\ud uncertain systems with interval time-varying delay. The key features of the\ud approach include the introduction of uncorrelated augmented matrix items\ud into the Lyapunove functional and ...

Artificial Intelligence and Mental Well‐Being in Adult Education: Implications for Practice and Professional Responsibility

open access: yesNew Directions for Adult and Continuing Education, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Mental well‐being is central to adult learner success, yet many adult education institutions lack capacity to provide timely and accessible support. This article examines how artificial intelligence (AI) can strengthen mental health–adjacent supports in adult and continuing higher education, with attention to professional practice and ...

A note on control of a class of discrete-time stochastic systems with distributed delays and nonlinear disturbances

open access: yes, 2010
The official published version of this article can be found at the link below. This paper is concerned with the state feedback control problem for a class of discrete-time stochastic systems involving sector nonlinearities and mixed time-delays. The mixed

Super‐Refractory Status Epilepticus (SRSE) in a Patient With Compound Heterozygous OPA1 Variants: Case Report and Literature Review

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective Super‐Refractory Status Epilepticus (SRSE) is a rare, life‐threatening neurological emergency with unclear etiology in many cases. Mitochondrial dysfunction, often due to disease‐causing genetic variants, is increasingly recognized as a cause, with each gene producing distinct pathophysiological mechanisms.

Delay differential equation models for real-time dynamic substructuring

open access: yes, 2005
Real-time dynamic substructuring is a testing technique that models an entire system through the combination of an experimental test piece, representing part of the system, with a numerical model of the rest of the system.

Clustering Algorithm Reveals Dopamine‐Motor Mismatch in Cognitively Preserved Parkinson's Disease

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective To explore the relationship between dopaminergic denervation and motor impairment in two de novo Parkinson's disease (PD) cohorts. Methods n = 249 PD patients from Parkinson's Progression Markers Initiative (PPMI) and n = 84 from an external clinical cohort.
