Dispersion and time-domain analysis
1999This chapter discusses how the mixing process affects the temporally dispersive properties of materials. The time variation of the electromagnetic phenomena under consideration is very simple. It is sinusoidal, and the frequency of the wave variation is a measure for the time derivatives that are needed in Maxwell equations.

EEG analysis based on time domain properties
Electroencephalography and Clinical Neurophysiology, 1970Abstract A method to describe the general characteristics of an EEG trace in a few quantitative terms is introduced. Its descriptive parameters are entirely based on time, but they can be derived also from the statistical moments of the power spectrum.

Time‐domain analysis of infinite fluid vibration
International Journal for Numerical Methods in Engineering, 1987AbstractA damper technique is proposed to model the effects of radiation damping in the finite element analysis of hydrodynamic pressures generated due to the vibration of a structure submerged in a compressible fluid. The proposed damper is suitable for a time‐domain analysis.

Frequency and time domain analysis
2005The radar and signal processing techniques required to extract the features associated with the propulsion systems tend to use low-range resolution waveforms and utilise time and frequency domain analysis methods. Fairly simple models are presented, which are representative of the techniques used for modelling the effects and performing the target ...
