Time History Analysis of Steel Tall Buildings
Advanced Materials Research, 2014The results of wind tunnel experiments were used to conduct time history analyses of three conventional square cross-section tall buildings with different structural systems. The primary purpose of the study was the direct comparison of the effects of the wind loads on the steel tall buildings.

Bayesian analysis of the extreme value of a time history
Reliability Engineering & System Safety, 1988Abstract This paper addresses the problem of estimating the peak factor of a stationary Gaussian process from the analysis of a single sample record of short duration. Successive extrema of the sample are ordered by decreasing magnitude and used to update the distribution of the maximum likelihood of the peak factor.

Accuracy of Time History Analysis of Impulses
Journal of Structural Engineering, 2003It was found that a very small time step might be needed in the step-by-step solution of the shock response from an impulse. In fact, this time step might be much smaller than the time step needed for accurate representation of the impulse and negligible period distortion.

REMEDY FOR LOAD DISCONTINUITY IN TIME HISTORY ANALYSIS
International Journal of Structural Stability and Dynamics, 2012Discontinuity at the end of an impulse will lead to an amplitude distortion in a time history analysis. This amplitude distortion can be effectively reduced, if a very small time step is used to perform a complete step-by-step integration procedure. As a result, a lot of computational effort is involved.

Time-History Analysis of Tibet Gravel Slope
Applied Mechanics and Materials, 2014In order to obtain the Tibet gravel slope’s response under earthquake, using ABAQUS analysis this kind of slope and get the peak acceleration on the key elements along the slope height. Found that the result can truly gave the max acceleration during earthquake and the acceleration distribution of the slop.

TIME HISTORY ANALYSIS OF WATER TANK WITH FIXED SUPPORT
2023The tremors are the results of energy exodus from the inner core of the earth that releases the seismic waves. The impact of these waves is enormous on lives, properties and ambient environment as well by virtue of ground shaking and rupture. It is critical to understand the features of ground motion to take precautions against loss of life and ...
