Development of real-time flight control system for low-cost vehicle [PDF]

open access: yes, 2011
In recent years, more and more light aircraft enter our daily life, from Agricultural applications, emergency rescue, flight experiment and training to Barriers to entry, light aircraft always have their own advantages. Thus, they have become more and

Simultaneous Enhancement of Performance and Stability in Dual‐Gate a‐IGZO Thin‐Film Transistors via Single‐Step Laser Annealing for Capacitor‐Less DRAM

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A single‐step laser annealing strategy is presented for dual‐gate a‐IGZO TFTs. The steep thermal gradient induces graded oxygen doping in the channel and simultaneous WOx removal at the contacts, enabling concurrent interface and contact engineering.

Development of heuristic procedures for flight rescheduling in the aftermath of irregular airline operations [PDF]

open access: yes, 1998
Includes bibliographical references (p. [151]-158)Airlines are constantly faced with operational problems which develop from severe weather patterns and unexpected aircraft or personnel failures. However, very little research has been done on the problem

Atom Probe Tomography as an Emerging Tool for Understanding Defect‑Driven Mechanisms in HfO2‑Based Ferroelectrics

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This Perspective highlights atom probe tomography as a powerful tool for understanding the atomic‐scale defect chemistry in HfO2‐based ferroelectrics. 3D mapping of dopants, point defects, and interface chemistry can provide new insight into defect‐driven mechanisms underpinning the ferroelectricity in the system and guide the design of more reliable ...

Short-Time Homomorphic Deconvolution (STHD): A Novel 2D Feature for Robust Indoor Direction of Arrival Estimation

open access: yesSensors
Accurate indoor positioning and navigation remain significant challenges, with audio sensor-based sound source localization emerging as a promising sensing modality. Conventional methods, often reliant on multi-channel processing or time-delay estimation

Coordinated Architectural and Chemical Reinforcement in the Crushing Mandible of a Soldier Termite

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
The crushing mandible of a soldier termite withstands substantial biting loads despite lacking mineral. Its cuticle is partitioned: convex teeth pair hardness and zinc enrichment with aligned chitin fibers for contact durability, while stiffer concave regions between teeth carry bending loads.

Memristive‐Gated RC‐Delay Synaptic Transistors for Time‐Encoded Analog in‐Memory Computing

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A Memristive‐Gated Transistor for Time‐Encoded Analog In‐Memory Computing — By exploiting the RC delay of a self‐rectifying interface‐type memristor, nonlinear I–V distortion is structurally bypassed, enabling 3‐bit nonvolatile memory, spike‐timing‐based analog encoding, and hardware‐calibrated reservoir‐computing validation within a unified device ...

Programming Nanoscale Reaction Environments via Peptide Localization for Gold Nanoparticle Growth in Liposomal Nanoreactors

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
The liposome nanoreactor method enables uniform metal nanoparticle synthesis using the interior as a reaction environment. We demonstrate that peptide sequences and lipid compositions act as a functional molecular switch to control reaction environments in liposome nanoreactors.
