Time-Resolved Macromolecular Crystallography [PDF]
Reaction mechanisms in chemistry and biochemistry involve structural change, not merely static structure (1). These structural changes can be very rapid, spanning the time range from femtoseconds to seconds and above. We have developed and applied timeresolved X-ray crystallography(2,3) to monitor directly the changes in electron density and hence in ...

Time-Resolved Measurement of a Charge Qubit [PDF]
We propose a scheme for monitoring coherent quantum dynamics with good time-resolution and low backaction, which relies on the response of the considered quantum system to high-frequency ac driving. An approximate analytical solution of the corresponding

Time-Resolved Vibrational Spectroscopy
This document contains the Proceedings from the 14th International Conference on Time-Resolved Vibrational Spectroscopy, which was held in Meredith, NH from May 9-14, 2009. The study of molecular dynamics in chemical reaction and biological processes using time-resolved spectroscopy plays an important role in our understanding of energy conversion ...

Time-resolved noise of adiabatic quantum pumps [PDF]
We investigate quantum-statistical correlation properties of a periodically driven mesoscopic scatterer on a time-scale shorter than the period of a drive.

Ultrafast Time-Resolved Photoelectric Emission [PDF]
The emission times of laser-triggered electrons from a sharp tungsten tip are directly characterized under ultrafast, near-infrared laser excitation at Keldysh parameters $6.6< < 19.1$. Emission delays up to 10 fs are observed, which are inferred from the energy gain of photoelectrons emitted into a synchronously driven microwave cavity.

Time-resolved detection of single-electron interference [PDF]
We demonstrate real-time detection of self-interfering electrons in a double quantum dot embedded in an Aharonov-Bohm interferometer, with visibility approaching unity.
