1,7‐Digallatetracarborane: Between Nucleophilic closo‐Cluster and “Inverse Sandwich” Digallylene
A dianionic π‐ligand is used to make a Janus‐type twofold complex with low‐valent gallium Ga(+I). The resulting compound can be seen as and reveals the reactivity of both: a Wade‐type closo‐carborane cluster with nucleophilic Ga‐sites, as well as π‐ligand stabilized Ga(I) atoms in an inverse sandwich compound.

Probing the modulation of enzyme kinetics by multi-temperature, time-resolved serial crystallography
The vast majority of protein structures are determined at cryogenic temperatures, which are far from physiological conditions. Nevertheless, it is well established that temperature is an essential thermodynamic parameter for understanding the ...

Time-resolved crystallography reveals allosteric communication aligned with molecular breathing
A comprehensive understanding of protein function demands correlating structure and dynamic changes. Using time-resolved serial synchrotron crystallography, we visualized half-of-the-sites reactivity and correlated molecular-breathing motions in the ...

We present an integrated workflow that predicts activity‐enhancing mutation combinations from minimal experimental data. By proposing in vivo unit yield (yield/expression) as a surrogate for kcat/Km through causal inference, and visualizing local activity landscape, it effectively guides product yield improvement. ABSTRACT Designing enzyme sequences to

Cyclo‐Polyproline: Chameleonic All‐Peptide Macrocycles With Induced‐Fit Host‐Guest Recognition
Macrocycles served as the genesis of supramolecular chemistry, advancing synthetic, separation, and materials fields. Despite their utility, they typically lack synthetic control. This work establishes a robust platform for all‐peptide macrocycles capable of host‐guest complexation and chameleonic behavior.

Dual Activation of H2 and CO2 by a Pincer‐Type Ni–Zn Heterobimetallic Complex
A bimetallic Ni−Zn complex performs sequential activations of H2 (1 equiv) and CO2 (2 equiv). This bimetallic cooperativity is attributed to the weak Lewis acidic nature of Zn(II), which promotes fluxional ligand binding. Namely, an X‐type ligand at Ni, where X is hydride or formate, toggles between two different binding modes: bridging Zn(μ‐X)Ni and ...

Time-resolved monochromatic synchrotron crystallography of a plant photoreceptor domain
La cristallographie résolue dans le temps (TRX) permet l’identification à l’échelle quasi atomique des changements structuraux progressifs au sein d’une protéine lorsqu’elle réalise sa fonction, permettant la constitution de véritables films moléculaires.
