Stain Effects Studied by Time-Resolved Infrared Imaging
Analytical Chemistry, 2008Pattern formation in evaporating colloidal droplets is an important phenomenon that is commonly observed in several solute-solvent systems; this is also an emerging technique for obtaining fine patterning through controlled conditions of drying. After evaporation of the solvent a ring-like pattern remains on the solid substrate under the condition of ...

Time-resolved spectral imaging: better photon economy, higher accuracy
SPIE Proceedings, 2015Lifetime and spectral imaging are complementary techniques that offer a non-invasive solution for monitoring metabolic processes, identifying biochemical compounds, and characterizing their interactions in biological tissues, among other tasks. Newly developed instruments that perform time-resolved spectral imaging can provide even more information and

Time resolved imaging at 130 Å with submicron resolution
Applied Optics, 1991A novel and simple XUV imaging technique using a laser-produced plasma source is described. A spatial resolution of better than 0.8 mum is demonstrated.

High speed time-resolving imaging
Technical Digest. CLEO/Pacific Rim '99. Pacific Rim Conference on Lasers and Electro-Optics (Cat. No.99TH8464), 2003In order to obtain a high depth resolution, not only the use of a fast shutter, but also the use of a fast modulated chirped pulse is necessary. A chirped pulse of wide spectrum range is necessary, therefore a wide band shutter is also needed. Shutters faster than CS/sub 2/ were realized using other materials such as glasses or organic dyes. We applied

Time-Resolved Multispectral Imaging Spectrometer
Applied Spectroscopy, 2000A new multispectral imaging spectrometer with millisecond resolution has been developed. This instrument is based on the use of an acousto-optic tunable filter (AOTF) for spectral tuning and a simple progressive scan camera capable of snapshot operation for recording.

Time resolved particle image velocimetry
Optics and Lasers in Engineering, 1988Abstract The temporal evolution of the velocity field of an unsteady fluid flow can be tracked by combining Particle Image Velocimetry (PIV) and high speed photography. Two alternative techniques for PIV are discussed: the classical light sheet technique and a method which makes use of the light scattered in forward direction.

Time-Resolved Imaging Of Transient Plasma
AIP Conference Proceedings, 2009Pulsed capillary discharge is a compact device that is used to perform fast electrical discharge that is used to produce transient plasma. In this work, a more economical imaging technique is developed in order to study the dynamics of the plasma that is formed in a capillary tube.

Computational time-resolved imaging.
2015Classical photography uses steady-state illumination and light sensing with focusing optics to capture scene reflectivity as images; temporal variations of the light field are not exploited. This thesis explores the use of time-varying optical illumination and time-resolved sensing along with signal modeling and computational reconstruction.

Time-Resolved Imaging in Diffusive Media
2017The medical use of light to probe deep tissues dates back to the 19th century, beginning with Bright’s 1831 report on hydrocephalus. Bright noted that sunlight or light from a candle was able to shine through the head of a patient who suffered from hydrocephalus, a disorder characterized by excess cerebrospinal fluid in and around the brain.
