Calls of Warrants: Timing and Market Reaction
The Journal of Finance, 1993ABSTRACTThis paper examines the timing of, and reaction to, calls of callable warrants. Three main findings emerge. First, unlike convertible bonds or preferred stock, callable warrants are called almost as soon as possible. Second, there is a negative price reaction of about 3 percent when a call is announced. Finally, at the completion of a call, the

Stereolithography: speeding time to market
Proceedings of WESCON '94, 2002Stereolithography (SL) was introduced by 3D Systems in 1988. Stereolithography Apparatus (SLA) systems produce accurate plastic solid objects from solid or fully surfaced CAD data. After "slicing" the CAD model into the chosen layer thickness anywhere between 0.004 inch and 0.020 inch, ultraviolet laser radiation is directed onto a vat of liquid ...

Timing the Market with Valuation and Trend
Journal of Finance Issues, 2007A market timing strategy, based on a non-linear forecasting model, is shown to deliver economically significant returns over a buy and hold strategy. The model is developed on the S&P 500 index using macro economic variables. The distribution of returns has a conditional mean that can be determined ex-ante.

Design for manufacturability and time‐to‐market
International Journal of Operations & Production Management, 1995Examines the impact of the intensity level of design for manufacturability (DFM) on the time‐to‐market. Hypothesizes that companies which use the DFM technology strategically are more likely than their counterparts to exhibit a shorter time‐to‐market, introduce new products and processes more often, and are more responsive to their customers needs.

Is Your Project Ready for Time-to-Market Focus?
2002There are many factors affecting the Time-To-Market (TTM) of a software project. A panel of experienced Finnish software professionals has produced an Excel-based questionnaire to gauge TTM-readiness of a software project. This paper studies not only the questionnaire but also the process of its construction, i.e.
