Characterizing the salivary RNA landscape to identify potential diagnostic, prognostic, and follow‐up biomarkers for breast cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This study explores salivary RNA for breast cancer (BC) diagnosis, prognosis, and follow‐up. High‐throughput RNA sequencing identified distinct salivary RNA signatures, including novel transcripts, that differentiate BC from healthy controls, characterize histological and molecular subtypes, and indicate lymph node involvement.

Distributed Coordinated Tracking Control for Multiple Uncertain Euler–Lagrange Systems With Time-Varying Communication Delays

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2019
In this paper, under-directed topology, distributed coordinated tracking control schemes are proposed for multiple Euler-Lagrange systems with time-varying communication delays, nonlinear uncertainties, and external disturbances.

Generation of guided space-time wave packets using multilevel indirect photonic transitions in integrated photonics

open access: yesPhysical Review Research, 2021
We propose an integrated photonic approach to generating guided space-time wave packets in a conventional multimode waveguide using multilevel interband photonic transitions.

Plane turbulent buoyant jets. Part 1. Integral properties [PDF]

open access: yes, 1977
An integral technique suggested for the analysis of turbulent jets by Corrsin & Uberoi (1950) and Morton, Taylor & Turner (1956) is re-examined in an attempt to improve the description of the entrainment. It is determined that the hypothesis of Priestley

Bridging the gap: Multi‐stakeholder perspectives of molecular diagnostics in oncology

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Although molecular diagnostics is transforming cancer care, implementing novel technologies remains challenging. This study identifies unmet needs and technology requirements through a two‐step stakeholder involvement. Liquid biopsies for monitoring applications and predictive biomarker testing emerge as key unmet needs. Technology requirements vary by

Closed-Loop Guidance with Final Velocity Constraint Using Time-Varying Weighting Coefficient for Shaping of Commanded Acceleration [PDF]

open access: yesفصلنامه علوم و فناوری فضایی, 2010
In this paper, a closed-loop optimal guidance with final position and velocity constraints is obtained by applying time-varying weighting coefficient in the performance index in order to shape the commanded acceleration.

Decoherence induced by a fluctuating Aharonov-Casher phase

open access: yes, 2005
Dipoles interference is studied when atomic systems are coupled to classical electromagnetic fields. The interaction between the dipoles and the classical fields induces a time-varying Aharonov-Casher phase.

PYCR1 inhibition in bone marrow stromal cells enhances bortezomib sensitivity in multiple myeloma cells by altering their metabolism

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This study investigated how PYCR1 inhibition in bone marrow stromal cells (BMSCs) indirectly affects multiple myeloma (MM) cell metabolism and viability. Culturing MM cells in conditioned medium from PYCR1‐silenced BMSCs impaired oxidative phosphorylation and increased sensitivity to bortezomib.

Unsteady Convection Flow of a Magnetomicropolar Fluid Past a Vertical Porous Plate

open access: yesInternational Journal of Applied Mechanics and Engineering, 2013
The paper deals with an unsteady two dimensional laminar slip flow of a viscous incompressible magnetomicropolar fluid past a semi infinite porous plate embedded in a porous medium.
