Range majority in constant time and linear space [PDF]

Given an array A of size n, we consider the problem of answering range majority queries: given a query range [i..j] where 1 ≤ i ≤ j ≤ n, return the majority element of the subarray A[i..j] if it exists. We describe a linear space data structure that answers range majority queries in constant time.

ABSTRACT Background Type 1 plasminogen deficiency (PLGD‐1) is an ultra‐rare autosomal recessive disorder caused by variants in the PLG gene and affects approximately 1.6 individuals per million. The condition is characterized by decreased plasminogen levels and impaired function, resulting in fibrin‐rich lesions on mucous membranes throughout the body.

Time Synchronization and Ranging in OFDM Systems Using Time-Reversal [PDF]

In this paper, we propose a new two-way time synchronization (TS) method for orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM)-based wireless systems. It relies on the time-reversal (TR) technique to remove the effect of the channel phase after the signal round-trip. Thus, the method is named TR-TS.
