STUDY ON THE INFLUENCE OF SAFETY EDUCATION ON THE WILLINGNESS OF CONSTRUCTION WORKERS TO HABITUAL SAFETY BEHAVIOUR [PDF]
In order to explore the impact of safety education on the willingness of construction workers to habitual safety behaviours, the relevant literatures are analysed, relevant research hypotheses are proposed, and the theoretical model of habitual safety ...

The Planck Scale Underpinning for Space Time [PDF]
We provide a rationale for the Planck scale being the minimum scale in the universe, as also its specific numerical values. In the process we answer the question of why the Planck scale is $10^{20}$ times the Compton scale of elementary particles. These considerations show how the Planck scale provides an underpinning for space time.

Nabla derivatives associated with nonlinear control systems on homogeneous time scales
The backward shift and nabla derivative operators, defined by the control system on homogeneous time scale, in vector spaces of one-forms and vector fields are introduced and some of their properties are proven.

Canonical time-frequency, time-scale, and frequency-scale representations of time-varying channels [PDF]
Mobile communication channels are often modeled as linear time-varying filters or, equivalently, as time-frequency integral operators with finite support in time and frequency. Such a characterization inherently assumes the signals are narrowband and may not be appropriate for wideband signals.

Uniform solvability for families of linear systems on time scales [PDF]
We give explicit criteria of solvability for families of linear systems on time scales. We introduce a new method of embedding a time scale into a non-autonomous system of ODEs. This will be the first step to implementing the structural stability result obtained by one of the co-authors together with V. A. Pliss to time scale dynamics.

Model dynamics on a multigrid across multiple length and time scales [PDF]
Most methods for modelling dynamics posit just two time scales: a fast and a slow scale. But many applications, including many in continuum mechanics, possess a wide variety of space-time scales; often they possess a continuum of space-time scales. I discuss an approach to modelling the discretised dynamics of advection and diffusion with rigorous ...

Conformable fractional Dirac system on time scales
We study the conformable fractional (CF) Dirac system with separated boundary conditions on an arbitrary time scale T $\mathbb{T}$ . Then we extend some basic spectral properties of the classical Dirac system to the CF case.

Computational Optimal Control of the Saint-Venant PDE Model Using the Time-scaling Technique [PDF]
This paper proposes a new time-scaling approach for computational optimal control of a distributed parameter system governed by the Saint-Venant PDEs. We propose the time-scaling approach, which can change a uniform time partition to a nonuniform one. We also derive the gradient formulas by using the variational method.

Imaginary-time relaxation quantum critical dynamics in two-dimensional dimerized Heisenberg model [PDF]
We study the imaginary-time relaxation critical dynamics of the Neel-paramagnetic quantum phase transition in the two-dimensional (2D) dimerized S = 1/2 Heisenberg model. We focus on the scaling correction in the short-time region. A unified scaling form including both short-time and finite-size corrections is proposed.
