Charged-particle timing with 10 ps accuracy using TimeSPOT 3D trench-type silicon pixels
For the next generation of vertex detectors, the accurate measurement of the charged particle timing at the pixel level is considered to be the ultimate solution in experiments operating at very high instantaneous luminosities.

Uniformly accelerated finite-time detectors [PDF]
The behavior of uniformly accelerated detectors in the Minkowski and Rindler vacua is analysed when the detector is coupled to a scalar field during a finite amount of time T. We point out that the logarithmic ultraviolet divergences reported in the literature are due to the instantaneous switching of the detector.

As a commonly used solution, the multi-ended readout can measure the depth-of-interaction (DOI) for positron emission tomography (PET) detectors. In the present study, the effects of the multi-ended readout design were investigated using the leading-edge

A TIME-OF-FLIGHT DETECTOR FOR CDF
A Time-of-Flight detector (TOF), with a technique based on plastic scintillators and finemesh photomultipliers, has been added to the CDF-II experiment. The main physics motivation is to improve neutral B meson flavor determination by K± identification.

Timing and synchronization of the DUNE neutrino detector
Abstract The DUNE neutrino experiment far detector has a fiducial mass of 40 kt. The O(1M) readout channels are distributed over the four 10 kt modules and need to be synchronized with respect to each other to a precision of O(10 ns). The entire system needs to be synchronized with respect to GPS time to O(100 ns). The system needs to be
