Temperature-controlled open-quantum-system dynamics using a time-dependent variational method [PDF]
Dirac-Frenkel variational method with Davydov D2 trial wavefunction is extended by introducing a thermalization algorithm and applied to simulate dynamics of a general open quantum system. The algorithm allows to control temperature variations of a harmonic finite size bath, when in contact with the quantum system.

Development and evaluation of pollen source methodologies for the Victorian Grass Pollen Emissions Module VGPEM1.0 [PDF]
We present the first representation of grass pollen in a 3-D dispersion model in Australia, tested using observations from eight counting sites in Victoria.

Model-based asymptotically optimal dispersion measure correction for pulsar timing
In order to reach the sensitivity required to detect gravitational waves, pulsar timing array experiments need to mitigate as much noise as possible in timing data. A dominant amount of noise is likely due to variations in the dispersion measure.

Periastron Precession Measurements in Transiting Extrasolar Planetary Systems at the Level of General Relativity [PDF]
Transiting exoplanetary systems are surpassingly important among the planetary systems since they provide the widest spectrum of information for both the planet and the host star.

On Timing Model Extraction and Hierarchical Statistical Timing Analysis [PDF]
In this paper, we investigate the challenges to apply Statistical Static Timing Analysis (SSTA) in hierarchical design flow, where modules supplied by IP vendors are used to hide design details for IP protection and to reduce the complexity of design and

Exposure Time Variation Method Using DMD for Microstereolithography
In stereolithography, parts are fabricated by curing photopolymeric resins with light. The application of stereolithography can now be extended to a very small scale. The process, called microstereolithography, can fabricate parts on a microscale without any further consideration of geometry complexity.

Variation in movement patterns of mule deer: have we oversimplified migration?
Background Conservation and management of migratory animals has gained attention in recent years, but the majority of research has focused on stereotypical ‘migrant’ and ‘resident’ behaviors, often failing to incorporate any atypical behaviors or ...

Searching for Transit Timing Variations in Young Transiting Systems
The discovery of young (4 σ ), although differences in methodology make a totally fair comparison challenging. We show that spots have a weak-to-negligible impact on our results, and similarly cannot explain the higher TTV fraction.
