Potential Early Risk Biomarkers for Reduced Forced Expiratory Volume in Children Post‐Hematopoietic Cell Transplantation

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT We sought to identify potential early risk biomarkers for lung disease in children post‐allogeneic HCT. Patients with pulmonary function tests 3 months post‐transplant and plasma samples between days 7 and 14 post‐HCT were included. Six of 27 subjects enrolled had reduced forced expiratory volume 1 (FEV1) z scores.

Tin vs. Lead Redox Chemistry Modulates Charge Trapping and Self Doping in Tin/Lead-Iodide Perovskites.

open access: yesJournal of Physical Chemistry Letters, 2020
Tin-halide perovskites are the only lead-free material class endowed with comparable optoelectronic properties to lead-iodide perovskites. Despite significant progress, the device efficiency and stability of tin-halide perovskites is still limited by two

Personalizing the Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Fellowship: Adapting Training for the Next Generation

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT The pediatric hematology‐oncology fellowship training curriculum has not substantially changed since its inception. The first year of training is clinically focused, and the second and third years are devoted to scholarship. However, this current structure leaves many fellows less competitive in the current job market, resulting in ...

Annealing studies and electrical properties of SnS-based solar cells [PDF]

open access: yes, 2011
Thin films of SnS (tin sulphide) were thermally evaporated onto glass and CdS/ITO (cadmium sulphide/indium tin oxide) coated glass substrates and then annealed in vacuum with the aim of optimising them for use in photovoltaic solar cell device structures.

Solar reduction of carbon dioxide on copper-tin electrocatalysts with energy conversion efficiency near 20%

open access: yesNature Communications, 2022
Copper catalysts modified with tin have been demonstrated to be selective for the electroreduction of carbon dioxide to carbon monoxide. However, such catalysts require the precise control of tin loading amount.
